Family-friendly vacation rentals in Parma

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home is! From the warm fireplace to the beautiful furnishings and feel of the home, we loved EVERYTHING about it. Tiziano was so helpful with recommendations and we can’t wait to come visit again and share a bottle of wine with him next time. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a small town home with plenty of small local places to eat/drink.

This place is a well hidden gem

Hosts who are helpful and kind, very welcoming and, despite living next door, never intrusive. The house is beautiful, the outside even more. Very nice pool. Large barbecue that allowed us to grill many things together. Very large interior spaces, kitchen equipped with everything, the bathrooms reserved for almost every room are a detail. The only downside is the difficulties of connecting with the Wi-Fi network, but you can also do without in a place like this.

It's such a beautiful location and view. We went swimming in the river just a 10 minute walk up the road. The house is very well equipped, and had everything we needed.

Very nice Airbnb in the nature of Italy. If you want to stay at a quiet and peaceful place it’s perfect. Alessandra was a very friendly host and we felt at home right away. Thank you very much!

Alessandra is the perfect hoste and makes you feel at home immediately. The place is absolutely stunning with a beautiful pool. Rooms are big and comfortable and decorated with clocks, audio speakers etc from earlier times which gave the space something special. And not to forget the homemade pasta or beer that they serve! Certainly a place to visit when you are in the neighboorhood!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We wish we could stay for longer and would definitely return.

Giulia and her mom are two wonderful people. They welcomed us from the first moment with friendliness and extreme helpfulness, presenting us with a spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation in all respects. They also welcomed our dog who always accompanies us, and this is very appreciated as unfortunately not all hosts are willing to do so. More than positive experience, so our return to them is a given.

Great welcome, perfect location for visiting Cremona, 5-10 minutes walk from the historic center and close to all amenities. Very nice apartment, well-equipped, we didn't want for anything! Great host, well deserved!

Our stay are Silvia’s was outstanding! We would highly recommend it! The space was incredible and Silvia and Pier are awesome hosts. We would encourage future guests to schedule the Parmesan tour and the Balsamic trip. We also were so happy that Pier was willing to share his culinary dinner skills with us! Delicious and so fun! And we just couldn’t get enough time with sweet Spike! Our castle stay could only have been better if we were there longer!

Victoria's mother, who welcomed us, lives in the same building, speaks fluent english and helped us out with a number of things in a remarkable kind and generous way (6 stars)

We had a great time. Tim's house is very well placed to discover this area. The house is spacious, very nice with its large very clear stay and this accommodation is very clean. The garden is beautiful , well maintained and has a magical view of the environment. Tim and his mother are discreet. As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. We were so lucky to stay at Isabella’s beautiful space this past weekend as a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The home and surroundings was even more beautiful than the photos, and was the perfect space for a large group of friends or a few families. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and their decoration was so charming. The outdoor pool was the perfect place to spend sunny summer afternoons, along with the many terraces. Isabella herself was so warm and welcoming - from the moment we arrived we felt at home and she was able to answer any questions we had for help. We ate one evening where Isabella’s husband cooked for us and the food was so delicious and the “restaurant” terrace to sit was so beautiful. We were also very lucky to get to meet the many lovely animals including Brando and the two barn kittens - a highlight for the group. It would be our dream to return one day - thank you so much Isabella!

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful and peaceful place, a small cocoon of sweetness with the bonus of a beautiful swimming pool that we enjoyed. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, it was very nice. We also enjoyed the fresh vegetables available on site and the good homemade pasta. It was a great vacation, big hearts when leaving. A big thank you to Stéfania and the others on site. Thanks to them, my mom was able to find her cousins from Italy, whom she hadn't seen in 45 years, it was great!

We had a great few days at Elena's place. It is a superb house, beautiful and that transmits you a lot of quiet.lity. The whole exterior is very manicured and with amazing mountain views. The house is spacious, rustic and cozy. We love Tuscany and we love Elena's house! Thanks for everything!

A fantastic property in an amazing location. The surrounding landscape is stunning and the position of the property offers incredible panoramas, and there are restaurants within walking distance which offer great dishes at reasonable prices. The pool is perfect and much needed in the summer. Also as it is saltwater rather than chlorine treated our children were happy spending hours each day in there. But best of all is the incredible hospitality of Kristen and Marietta, who clearly love making your stay the best it can be.
