“The house is lovely, spacious, and in a very nice, and calm neighborhood. The house’s garden is beautiful and peaceful. The house is very close to hidden gems, if you’re looking to walk, relax, and explore the local nature, beaches, and landscape. It’s also close to organic farms and groceries. The WiFi worked perfectly, for those who need it to work remotely. Everything about the accommodation is perfect, and more importantly, Bill is a wonderful host! Bill goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. He is very friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely stay at Bill’s place again when I return to Cape Cod! Sharing the house with Bill is a plus and a pleasure, as he is a great company and also very mindful about guest privacy. Highly recommended to those who are looking for a special stay in Cape Cod!”

“It feels like you arrived at a rich uncles house in the cape. It’s unbelievably cozy, yet very sophisticated. The kitchen is gorgeous and delightful to cook in, every pot and trinket you could need is available, you just supply the groceries. The bathrooms and the showers themselves are roomy and easy to temperature control. The two sinks in the downstairs bathroom are just stellar. There’s a little cove/boat launch about 10 minutes or less of a walk away and we saw jelly fish. TONNES of jelly fish. I walked in and was surrounded by nonstinging cute little clear blobs of dance and I was very enthused (I still am). We strolled main st and took some time in Dennis port, I suggest both for a few hours or less of just walking and talking and, of course, shopping. Stop and shop is a small drive away, as is a cvs. I have so many good things to say about the slate house I can’t imagine how to keep going but the late nights crawling into their cozy white linens after a nice warm shower post hot tub or beach was euphoric. The fire pit was warm and inviting and s’more heaven. Everything, everything was phenomenal”

“Had a very relaxing stay with my family. Place was very clean. We used the kayaks and paddle boards on the property which was nice. We drove to Mayflower beach every day we were there. Very short drive and one of the best beaches I've visited, great for kids. The outdoor space didn't seem as well maintained as the inside, though. Hammock on the lawn was relaxing. The outdoor shower was a bit too buggy with lots of spiderwebs, so we didn't use it. The house is by the woods so I understand why it might get buggy quickly, but was disappointed to not use. Some of the outdoor cushions by the gas fireplace table were buggy too but there were other chairs without cushions that were fine to use. We used the grill but it was a bit old and dirty. We spent most of our time on the beach or pond so this didn't bother us too much but would be nice if outdoor area could be as modern and clean as the inside. Kitchen had most of what we needed although could not find any microwave-safe bowls. These were minor things. Overall, we loved the location and very much enjoyed our stay, felt relaxed the whole time.”
