Monthly Rentals in Onomichi

I don't even know where to start from...When me and my friends made the itinerary for our trip to Japan, we had a couple objectives in mind, Shimanami Kaido was one of them..so staying in Onomichi at least one night was mandatory-to be able to wake up early for the route next day. We're happy that we chose to go for 2 nights instead...this location is EASILY the best place we have ever visited.The house is a lovely traditional house with modern inserts, everything is kept impeccable, the hosts provided us with everything we needed and communicated very well with us. The courtyard is amazing and you have a lovely view over Onomichi from there-the zone is so peaceful...it's like you're immersed in the nature. The check in/check out were also extremely easy to handle and we had free bikes for use right outside the house. I could write novels about this magical place, but I think all of us need to go there and discover it for ourselves.We will for sure return one day! Thanks for having us!

I would highly recommend it to people who are new to Airbnb, who are in touch faster than a typical hotel, etc. They often responded politely to my communications and answered questions in an easy-to-understand manner. It was an old house, and there was nothing around, but I think it was a perfect place to stay!

Highly recommend 10/10. The property was clean well prepared really beautiful. The view was also stellar and the host is really sweet and lovely guy. If you ever stay near here do yourself a favor and book this place!

I couldn’t recommend this place more. The hosts were clear, welcoming, responsive and helpful. It seems they’ve thought of everything! As a designer I was sad to leave it, it will go down as a highlight of my trip. It blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship and materiality with contemporary comforts in an exemplary way. The beds were comfy, there was the flexibility to manually ventilate or use the AC if needed, the whole place was clean and smelt nice. It was beautiful, my only regret is not staying for longer!
