There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. A small plot surrounded by buildings on both sides.It was originally a house that was so dark that it needed lighting even during the day.So, the living room, where you spend the most time, is on the second floor.By making it one continuous space without dividing it east-west, the light now passes through the entire house. Even though it's in the middle of the city, when you sit down, the sounds from outside become more distant.It's a house with that kind of tranquility.
