It is conveniently located 5 minutes from Turkey Creek and 20 minutes to downtown Knoxville and UT. Most Airbnb's are in residential neighborhoods, but ours is in the woods. Enjoy the outdoors with the close convenience of city life. We roast green coffee and provide a jar of freshly roasted coffee upon request. Must be at least 25 years old to register.

We have lots of beautiful outdoor opportunities to enjoy nearby such as the Obed Visitor Center, Frozen Head State Park, and the Lilly Bluff overlook. If you are a history buff, the Alvin C York State Historic Park, historic Rugby and Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary are all must sees. Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
