Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Northern Europe

Just got back from a lovely 2 day stay at The Shepherds Hut. My first Airbnb experience was so positive. Would definitely stay there again. Stunning location and 2 minutes walk to the beach. The hut is cosy but has all you need for a short stay. Parking on site is secure on a driveway behind a gate. Thank you Meg ☺️

Sue is an amazing host and the hut was exactly what we hoped it would be - a peaceful weekend away with beautiful surroundings. Very functional hut - it had everything you would need. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be looking to come back!

Magical place! The setting is so beautiful, the huts wonderfully decorated, and with every thought given to comfort. My kids LOVED the stay, especially the chill out gazebos, and the fairy woods - truly a magical place! Communication was great, and Jenny really is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our long weekend in the cabins, so peaceful and private with gorgeous across the valley. We particularly enjoyed the hammock on the long sunny evenings! Graham and Pip were very friendly and helpful, giving us local recs and have truly thought of everything - the cabins were well-stocked with everything you could need and were a delightful place to stay. Could not recommend these lovely cabins more for a memorable and characterful stay in the Brecons.

We have had the most wonderful and relaxing weekend in pippin. Getting to spend time in the orchard, meeting the lovely sheep, and enjoying the peace of the space has been amazing. Thank you Katie and Anna for creating such a magical retreat. Hope to be here again soon!

Lovely spot for a countryside getaway. The area is very peaceful and Helen and Peter are welcoming hosts. The Hut had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend away from the city. Would definitely come again :)

The cabin and the wagon were great and a lovely place to relax with cows and sheep grazing in the next field and walks around the farm and surrounding fields. Really thoughtful touches inside the cabin too. Perfect for a bank holiday, thanks a lot!

We really enjoyed our night away in our cosy little shepherds hut. The surroundings were stunning and our hut was absolutely spotless. It was in a great location. We enjoyed a lovely meal in a local pub only 10 minutes drive away. The hot tub was definitely worth the extra £50. It was lovely and hot as we kept adding the logs on the fire. It was a lovely relaxing experience and amanda was a great host. Very helpful and recommended places to eat nearby. We just wish we booked an extra night. We will be returning in the future. The Shepherds hut is a beautiful, peaceful little place to stay, the hot tub is great, Reece and John were attentive and helpful with local recommendations and optional extras that really make the trip extra special. Molly the dog is also the friendliest little visitor when she pops her head in. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will likely be back in the future!

Lovely place to relax and get away from the world!

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

Lovely hut in a beautiful setting, we stayed after visiting the nearby Hay Festival. Tom was very helpful with clear instructions to find the location. We had some lambs visit us in the morning to keep the grass short.

absolutely loved our stay, host was super helpful with messages and found no issues at all. Local pub (2min walk) had an open mic night (Thursdays) and the locals were super friendly. The hot tub was private and clean. So much to do with Tenby and Saundersfoot just around the corner. Book a taxi before hand!

We had a wonderful 2 night break in Carolyn's lovely little shepherd's hut. The hut was beautiful, so many lovely little touches. The view from our decking was stunning and just so peaceful. Carolyn was a brilliant host from the first communication. There were so many beautiful beaches to visit a short drive away and plenty of restaurants recommended by Carolyn in the guest guide book. Will definitely cone back and recommend to family and friends. 5 stars!

Very quiet, peaceful and private location and easy to find. The fire pit had been left ready to light and the hot tub was heated and ready to enjoy. Basic kitchen, so if you think you might need something specific to cook with, it might be worth checking ahead with the host, but Peter was super helpful and was happy to pop straight round when we found we hadn’t got something we needed. We only stayed for one afternoon/night but we had a thoroughly relaxing break in the cabin. Thank you Peter.

Perfect shepherd’s hut - our favourite we have been to! There is a designated parking spot and you are greeted by a group of lovely friendly chickens. Tess sent very clear and useful directions beforehand so was easy to find. The hut has a fully equipped bathroom, kitchen area with microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and hob, and a really comfy bed with a tv. The view from the hut is stunning and we felt so at peace and relaxed here. Tess gave us a tour of the farm which we loved, and also kindly provided eggs, milk, butter and bread. We had an immaculate night’s sleep and recharged our batteries here. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Marian greeted us when we arrived at the property and showed us around. Marian had already heated the Shepherd's Hut, the bathroom and brought the hot tub up to the perfect temperature. She told us about different walks and things we could do during our stay. The accomodation was beautiful, and so peaceful. The views were fantastic and we even saw wild hares running around whilst we were soaking in the hot tub. We would highly recommended booking a stay and we will definitely be back!
