Farmstay vacation rentals in Northern Europe

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has literally everything you need. The view from the balcony is stunning and the silence around the house really let us unwind. The city, the beach, a supermarket, everything is really close, if you have a car. Also Massimo and Despina are the nicest people. I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone!

The cottage offers a real moment of escape, quiet and super well equipped. Emilie was very responsive and flexible on the check-in and check-out conditions. The field with cows and deer offers a real plus for children and even adults. We will be happy to come back to this perfect cottage for 2 families with 5 children.

We had a nice stay with the kids. Everything you needed was there for children (chair bed, book, games). The cottage is quiet and peaceful to relax and stroll in the countryside. Very nice welcome and visit of the farm very friendly. Ruth taught us a lot about their farm. We loved it

Last minute get away with the family! Really nice place out in the country side and not too far from Pocklington for everything you need! Nice clean spacious barn conversion!

A wonderful little hidden gem in north Devon Cornwall border. Annie is a wonderful host and her cottages and full of charm & the hot tub is a massive bonus after a long day walking or surfing. We had a wonderful two nights at The Woodshed. The place is cosy, homely and spotlessly clean and care and attention to detail has been paid in the furnishings. The whole cottage was kitted out to a high standard with little thoughtful touches such as a home baked cake on arrival, chopped logs for the wood burner and fluffy towels. We felt at home here and really enjoyed our peaceful stay in the beautiful countryside. This is one of the few places we have stayed where the photos don’t do the place justice.

I only stayed one night while traveling through the country. I enjoyed the farm scenery and the excellent coffee and scone while chatting with some locals at Tamp, a local coffee shop. Greta was very welcoming and accommodating with our late arrival and slightly delayed departure. We all had a restful night of sleep after gathering at the kitchen table for a family game we brought with us. It was a delightful stay.

Couldn’t say enough about this beautiful little cabin!! We have enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Iceland !(: The scenery is wonderful, it is a quiet/peaceful area, and there are various farm animals right next to us that we can go see/feed if we want! Highly recommend this Airbnb for your travels!

What a lovely place, and the host family were so amazing. I don’t think anyone staying here would say that the experience was anything short of exceptional. If i could have given 6 stars i would. Ideal place to stay, you’re very central to a lot of activities and stunning places, 20 minutes in the car and you could be in several beautiful west wales attractions. The location is lovely and peaceful, with lovely views, the hot-tub was a lovely bonus you can relax in a lovely warm lazy spa as you gaze upon the stars. The host family was so kind and welcoming, they had some milk, bread and welsh cakes waiting for us. They made every effort to make sure we were happy and comfortable, they even took us down for a short walk to meet and feed the lamas. Their kindness really shone through, honestly if you have a chance to stay here grab it with both hands you won’t regret it. The place was spotless, well maintained but it was the host family that took it to another level.

It was so thoughtful to have the cottage already warm and a fire going in the fireplace when we arrived. The place is cute, cozy and peaceful. Hubert was communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and our greyhounds did too!

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely loved our stay at Windmill farm! We spent our Christmas break here and it was just the perfect setting. Chickens would greet you everyday and the kids were able to roam around and see the animals, the ‘reindeer’ were a hit! Thank you so much!

This truly was a magical experience. The host did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible and covered every detail eg, The jam, butter, marmalade and milk all stored in beautiful glass decanters. The room was stunning and aesthetically perfect, so clean, cosy and tasteful. Tracy was a hoestess with the mostess and we'd be back just to have a cup of tea with her let alone the stunning apartment. She left no stone left unturned when it came to guests needs, there was even an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste in case someone had forgotten (us) haha. Highly recommend if you want an escape to a snap shot of paradise. X

I stayed at Helen's with three girlfriends. We had a wonderful time - the place is cosy, comfortable and clean! Helen meets all needs, everything is well stocked and there were many special extras which really added to the glee we felt on our arrival! Star gazing in the hot tub was just perfect, followed by changing into our pj's to have dinner inside the comfortable living room/diner with the fire on. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!

Terry’s apartment ticked all my boxes for a peaceful, quiet spot with lots of walks and so many opportunities to relax. The apartment was everything I needed in terms of layout and is located in a friendly, safe area. I highly recommend it. Terry was a welcoming host, who respected my privacy and was there if I needed him.

This accommodation was a great choice. Excellent location, very remote and very good hiking locations nearby. The accommodation itself exceeded all our expectations, clean, tidy, nicely furnished. The hosts were very attentive, kind, and helpful with everything. Enough to say that all our needs were met. We visited in the winter and it was a wonderful, intimate, very relaxing retreat. It was inspiring what the owner, Jan has built with his own two hands over the years! We will definitely return in the summer. Once again, many thanks and gratitude to you!

We have had a lovely stay at this house. It was absolutely spotlessly clean, and the house very warm and cosy. A great space for socialising as we were two families staying together, with everything we needed. We want to go back as it was perfect for us. The host Andrea/Sally were very communicative and helpful. It was so lovely they left us choccys and Prosecco! xx

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

We had a wonderfull stay at the farm ! With the sunset view in the morning , sheep & cows on the hills around the house, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. it was truely amazing✌️

I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights in this charming barn conversion, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The facilities were top-notch and eco-conscious, which I truly appreciated. Penny, the host, was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a minor issue upon arrival, she resolved it quickly and with genuine apologies, ensuring my stay was comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Such a peaceful, cosy cabin with wonderful views! If you’re lucky enough to get some sun- you’ll see exactly why it’s called Sunset Lodge! Great location. My children loved the little play area next to the cow paddock and also loved watching the sheep. Check in was super easy and host “left us to it” which is great if you’re busy exploring Cornwall! Would definitely stay again
