Hut vacation rentals in Northern Europe

Had the best couple of days staying at the hut, was greeted by Alexandra who was extremely friendly and helpful she showed us the facilities and hut. hut itself was a lovely little place, we could've happily stayed for longer. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again, thanks so much :)

Had a wonderful two day stay in Jesse's hut to do some work in a remote place without distractions. The cabin is bigger than one might expect, especially as I was by myself. Plus I was lucky the weather was just lovely so I could sit outside on the porch all day. Initially I imagined the hut to be on a field or end of a garden or so but it is in fact at the entrance of the working and residential farm. This by no means was any problem though as Andrew is such a friendly guy to talk to -as were the locals and other guests who stayed in the other cottages in the courtyard- and as such one can engage in a chat or just exchange a friendly smile. Good vibes and energy throughout. Glad I stayed here and if there'll be a next time I hope I have more time to explore the stunning views and area which seem to lend itself for some beautiful walks. Recommended!

The hut is truly the ultimate country getaway, peaceful, charming, and a world away from the fast pace of city life. Full of nature, it offered everything we needed for a restful retreat. The sauna, in particular, was a highlight; such a luxurious touch that made our stay feel extra special. Joe and his family were outstanding hosts, warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. From flexible check-in to helpful tips, they went above and beyond. Joe even gave us a quick "masterclass" in fire lighting which added a fun and memorable element to our experience. We couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, this is the spot. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Joe!

Absolutely fantastic location. Our first stay in a shepherds hut and the bar was set high! Having the hot tub made it extra special and the views were beautiful. Lovely hut in a beautiful setting, we stayed after visiting the nearby Hay Festival. Tom was very helpful with clear instructions to find the location. We had some lambs visit us in the morning to keep the grass short.

Perfect stay for a peaceful night away from the city lifestyle, beautiful surroundings by the lake with natural wildlife. Barbara was a brilliant host with great communication and very clear instructions, she kindly pre heated the Hot Tub for us which was appreciated for our arrival. The BBQ and log burner were a great addition with the Hut being fully equipped with cooking utensils for what we needed, lovely and cosy with fairy lights and lovely outside lighting. The outside bathroom was very clean and easy to access. Overall brilliant stay will definitely recommend to others or to return for another visit in the future.

Very quiet, peaceful and private location and easy to find. The fire pit had been left ready to light and the hot tub was heated and ready to enjoy. Basic kitchen, so if you think you might need something specific to cook with, it might be worth checking ahead with the host, but Peter was super helpful and was happy to pop straight round when we found we hadn’t got something we needed. We only stayed for one afternoon/night but we had a thoroughly relaxing break in the cabin. Thank you Peter.

Fantastic stay at this cosy little hut. Rowena left milk and jams for me. The view was incredible and the hut had everything needed - including a hairdryer! The bed was comfortable, warm at night and the shower had great pressure too! On the final day the cutest little cat came to visit me too! Beautiful property in a brilliant location. Thank you!!

We spent 3 fabulous nights in Holly’s Shepherds Hut to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Hut is decorated very tastefully and modern and set in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved lighting the fire pit each evening after a delicious meal at The Old Mill Pub which is a couple of minutes walk away. The location is perfect for visiting the nearby beaches and towns. Holly was a brilliant Host and we can’t wait to return!

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

We are lovers of shepherds huts and have stayed in quite a few but this was the best yet! Absolutely amazing hut, set up with private garden overlooking beautiful location, fire pit, everything had been thought of. Welcome basket was perfect for breakfast and drinks in fridge including the chilled water, meant we felt right at home. Thank you for a fantastic stay, top quality from start to finish and we would definitely love to stay again sometime.

Our stay at Ambers off grid hut was lovely. Clean smelling linen, beautiful surroundings, amazing nature and most of all it was peaceful. We felt relaxed almost immediately and loved every minute spend there. Amber was lovely herself and has friendly manner. We weren’t disturbed at all and yet she wasn’t too far away if we needed anything. Simply tranquil! We’re already looking forward to our next stay.

Perfect overnight stay whilst walking the coast path. Nicola had thought about every little detail so we felt really comfortable and well looked after. Would highly recommend!

What a gorgeous place, i miss it already. To us it was perfection...a gated safe spot for our dog and not confined so he could roam freely. The hot tub was lovely and i read a whole book in 2 days. Our entertainment was watching a dove tend to her nest, enjoying seeing our very happy dog on his first hols, playing a board game and chatting. No wifi no tv. Llangollen has enough going on too but this was a bit of paradise above a busy lovely little town.

Thank you Nic and family for your hospitality and generosity! It was such a pleasure to stay here. You can really tell that the hut is furnished with so much love and attention to detail. The location & area were great too. Communication with Nic was quick and easy. Despite some awful winds and occasional downpours, I had such a great week here - unwinding, walking and chilling. The perfect birthday treat to myself! I felt so at home I could honestly live there and never wanted to leave!! Has all the amenities you could need, the comfiest bed and epic views. Amazing all round!

My 6 year old and I just spent a night in this beautiful hut and we wish we could have spent more! Selina has thought of everything and we couldn’t have felt more at home. We spent the evening playing dominoes next to a fire, watching wildlife come and go. My little one loved saying hello to the chickens and was fascinated by the bee hives. The shower is lovely and hot - Selina even provides shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A perfect hideaway
