Cottage vacation rentals in Northeast Italy

Our family loved this cottage. Plenty of space for the kids to stretch their legs and the recommendations for a private chef were amazing. Easy drive to lots of lovely places in the Chianti region.

It was such a beautiful setting to be among the vineyards and my son loved visiting the farms birds and jumping on the trampoline. The accommodations were beautiful and the hosts were so lovely very welcoming and gave excellent recommendations about the local sites. We had their wine and their farm fresh breakfast we highly recommend it ! We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again one day.

Maria and Luca's B&B is truly a paradise! Upon arrival, they were all waiting for us. We got an explanation and small tour. There was a delicious prosecco cold, cheeses, eggs soda and more. The cottage has a complete kitchen and on the first floor (which is also ground floor) is the bedroom. We slept wonderfully, sometimes we heard the young wild boars scramble and continue to enjoy the silence. The garden is truly beautiful. Everything has been taken care of with love and attention. From the hedgehogs on the stairs to the figurines in the planters, the wonderfully smelling flowers, the hammock and the nice swimming pool. There are beautiful blue black bees buzzing over your head in the pergola where you can enjoy a glass of prosecco in the afternoon sun. Genoa is about a 25-minute drive. And Camogli and Portofino for about an hour. The whole coast is beautiful. When we went home this morning with pain in our heart after 5 days, there was another surprise at the door

We had a wonderful stay at Stiven’s place on the edge of the village. Traveling with our two middle-size dogs, we thoroughly enjoyed the long walks in the area and the lovely trips to nearby attractions. The village’s location is perfect—close to Natural Park Učka and just a short distance from the sea. The house is incredibly cozy and well-equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. Visiting during winter, we especially loved the amazing fireplace, which kept the space warm and comfortable without any issues.

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Il Borgo was an absolute dream to stay at and it by far surpassed our expectations. We visited Italy for the first time and to be hosted by Luca & Marina on our trip, has set the bar super high for any further trips we may have. Never have we ever met such amazing souls. We booked an air bnb, with the usual expectations. Luca & Marina showered us with so much love and care, that we are still blown away. The views were spectacular, the home was so cosy and immaculate, but what stood out the most was the passion, care and love of Luca & Marina. They both have really put their heart and souls into everything they do. And it really shows that their passion is not business, but rather to be genuine kind souls. To say we all shed a tear on departure of our trip for one another. Just goes to show, how much of a lasting impression they have had 💕thank you Luca & Marina, our Italian parents 💗

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

Small house with beautiful large property with lots of olive trees that provide shade. The house has everything you need and is cool even in the hot season due to an air conditioning. We felt comfortable. Thanks to Antonio and his lovely grandparents!

Lovely, peaceful setting with a view of the mountains and a convenient walking path to the village. You have ultimate privacy as the home is located at the very end of a gravel road through agricultural fields and small garden plots. House was very clean and everything worked just fine. Very convenient to the large market (groceries, general household needs...and gelato!). Two things to be aware of: There are three houses in the general area with the same address so be sure to put the entire address into your GPS. Also all sleeping areas are upstairs up a stepladder type of stairs. It's fine, but not the house for those with mobility issues. Nela is warm and welcoming and very helpful with tips to make your stay in Slovenia memorable!

There is no need to use redundant words to say how much we enjoyed ourselves; it is evident that in Sandra's delightful little house everything has been arranged to make the stay of the guests as pleasant as possible. Cleanliness, amenities, location, parking space, tranquility of the area... and the list could go on and on; and then what about Sandra, a person of extraordinary radiance who welcomes her guests with a smile that is like a hug... thank you very much and congratulations, we hope to return!

Very nice, older house, quietly located. Everything you need, well-equipped and clean kitchen. Huge garden with various sun loungers, hammocks, toys for children, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful view. The pizzas from the pizza oven in the garden tasted delicious. The communication with the host worked flawlessly, we always got a quick response to questions. We felt very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Cristina‘s place. Cristina was a great host, very welcoming and took a lot of care. The area around her place is lovely and great for walking. We would always come back!:)

We had chosen the bnb of Annamaria because of the decor, the beautiful garden and the Italian style. We stayed there for a month from mid-March to mid-April. We saw the winter in Lombardy going in spring. From bare vines to the young blossom. The apartment provided everything. The contact with Annamaria was pleasant and warm. The garden is lovely for ourselves and our dog. We have been able to enjoy Italian life for a month. All necessities can be found in the nice and beautiful place Peschiera, including supermarket Lidl. It was also nice that there was a washing machine available, especially because we stayed there for a long time. The decor of the bnb gives a lot of inspiration. In short, we enjoyed very much. We had a super nice week at Villa. We especially liked the large garden (perfect for dogs and humans) with beautiful views of the lake. Alberto and Elena were wonderful hosts and always answered any questions quickly and adequately. We would recommend the villa to anyone who would like to stay at Lake Garda and prefers the tranquility to the hustle and bustle.

The place itself was a dream! Clean, spacious, tasteful and high-quality furnishings, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms. The location in Döllach is perfect for nature lovers. We were able to set off on numerous hikes directly from the property and explore the breathtaking scenery. Communication was excellent; Valentina was always available for questions and gave us great tips on local attractions and restaurants. Overall, our stay was simply memorable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Many thanks to Valentina, our Superhost, for the great experience!

Beautiful views, private, peaceful and a great location to explore the different towns around the lake!

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and we absolutely fell in love with this place! The scenery is gorgeous, the view from the cottage did not get old! Very private setting in a peaceful neighborhood. Andrea was a fantastic host, along with the help of his lovely parents. He communicated with me at every step of the way making sure all of our needs were taken care of. Could not be happier with our stay and it made our honeymoon very special.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful. It is a bit of a walk to the town but we did have a great stay.
