Bungalow vacation rentals in New Smyrna Beach

Loved this place. There are three of us who stayed there. We fit perfectly. Near a school, so it felt pretty safe and the speed limit was slow. Lots of sidewalks to walk. About 1 mile from town and short drive to the beach. The patio was so relaxing and beautiful for the NCAA tournament :) we were there from cold MI. There were beach towels for us. No beach chairs , but the hosts were great at getting us some- it was so nice of them. We only traveled with a backpack each, intending to just wash clothes. But unfortunately the dryer went out during our stay. Wasn’t a game changer at all , and things happen. No bugs! Which is like 5/5 stars with that. Talk about piece of mind. Seriously though that patio was outta control amazing. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed staying at this Airbnb. Location to restaurants was great. Short walk to Flagler Ave. Rarely had to drive unless we went to Canal Street. Slept good. Enjoyed sitting on porch in the evening. Quiet neighborhood; couple blocks walk to the ocean

This beach cottage is very cute and clean! Fit our family of 4 and had all of the amenities we needed. It is located in a convenient area, walkable to the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately we were there for a family emergency and not a vacation, but I would just like to add that the hosts were very hospitable in accommodating us at the last minute, and they were very easy to communicate with and answered any questions and I'm very appreciative for that. But nonetheless, this house would be a great place to stay for a family beach vacation!

First of all, you must know that this is an absolutely lovely home. The floors, the high ceilings, the furnishings, the bathrooms are all just lovely. All three beds are very comfortable, with a nod to the extra “oomph” of the king. Couple that with your very gracious hosts, Susan and Al, and you have a wonderful winning combination. Very walkable to the river, the shops, restaurants, parks, etc and a short drive to the beach. Come for a long weekend, and you may just want to stay for the week! When you do, you’ll be happy you made that decision.

Our stay was great - exactly how described and all the amenities we needed. It was close to restaurants (15 min walk or 5 min drive to Main Street and lakeside). Sanford is a lovely spot. The home is exactly what you would expect for the great price, yet it was homey and pleasant and had everything you needed. No problems with getting there, very clear entry instructions and wifi and TVs as well as games and books provided.

This was our second stay with Claudia. We stayed in another of her listings last year. Just like their other home, we were extremely pleased with our accommodations. Claudia and Jose sent very helpful check-in and check-out information prior to us arriving. The house is super cute and very cozy. Decor is very fun, colorful and inviting, house was very clean, nice little screened porch to sit and enjoy the nice weather and very conveniently located to the shops, restaurants and bars. Only a very short walk from the home, yet the music and noise from the nearby entertainment could not be heard from inside the house. We would absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend Claudia and Jose’s listings to others looking for a place to stay in the downtown Sanford area! Wonderful hosts!!!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Only 1000 characters for review available. Pros Everything was beautiful. Beautifully decorated and great furniture. Maureen was wonderful. Ken was great. We would stay here again if we are back in Port Orange. Maureen, thanks for everything. Clean towels. Water in the refrigerator. Great hosts. Spanish place walking distance has amazing food. A stones throw away from the water. Lighthouse and other attractions within 15 minutes. 2 or 3 people this house is perfect. Cons If you are tall, the shower will be a bit of an issue as the rain portion is designed for someone 5' 7" or less. There is a separate hand held that kind of helps. The glass in the shower is not entirely sealed. Second bed has to be assembled to be a Queen size. The assembly was not something that could be figured out without help but they are figuring something out for it. Fan in main bedroom makes noise, but just hang the pull string in the metal outside portion.
