Family-friendly vacation rentals in Napier

We had the most wonderful time staying in this lovely place. The property is amazing! We enjoyed the Spa pool while having a stunning view to the sea. Thanks for showing also the tiny houses it was great to learn so much about this topic (especially about the toilet system) The artworks all over are very impressive. Thanks for accomodating us and the great chats we had! We all will miss this lovely time. Can highly recommend to stay with Gilly!

Diana's house exceeded our expectations. The incredible view and spacious common areas, including a large kitchen with a lovely dining table and comfortable living room sofas, made us feel instantly at home. The spa was the perfect finishing touch, making our stay even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely place to stay. Comfortable room and beautiful property. We enjoyed visiting the animals and using the hot tub. FYI pool is only heated after labour days Wish we had stayed another night.

We had an amazing peaceful week at Rebecca and Ollie's place. The house is kitted out with everything you might need, it's quiet and clean, and the kids had a blast in the garden and with the toys. Amazing location with heaps of things to do only a walk away. Rebecca and Ollie were also really responsive to questions and gave us good spots to visit. We'd love to come back next time we're in Napier!

Tina's place was just what we wanted for a 3 night stay, easy and relaxed close to places of interest and all the comforts of home. Would highly recommend.

The place was amazing, from the spa, pool, kitchen, rooms and bathrooms. Parking area is also wide for large number of guests. Pool is warmth as well as the spa. Kitchen full of all kitchen stuff plus it is spacious. The more exciting on our stay was the breathtaking views of the mountains and landscapes. The 2 nights we stayed was worth the pay. Once again thanks to Diane being a fantastic hosts, always communicate to us and even reply straightaway. We felt warmth and welcome from the start until we left the place. Once again thanks To Diane. We gave her 5 star for our stay.

A lovely property featuring high quality furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped with a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. There were also laundry facilities if required Mary was very responsive when asked for a replacement lightbulb The Wi-Fi and TV equipment were very good and there were copious amounts of literature to explain the local area The house was situated very close to the centre of Napier We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so many thanks to Mary

Colin is a lovely friendly host. Great place to stay for a few days in the beautiful Te Awanga. Kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook. The multi function oven /air fryer was great! Great size bathroom. Fantastic wifi reception. We thought living room was much bigger than it looked like in the pictures. We were visited by a friendly dog Mocka regularly.

We had a great stay with our dog. Very peaceful with lots of outdoor seating options. Well equipped kitchen. A real treat to have two ensuites. It’s nice to see that you’ve thought about accessibility needs.

Sam's place was great for our whole family - four adults and four kids. Plenty of space to run around and it's all fenced, really useful when you've got ages ranging from toddler to teenager. Between the pool and the backyard cricket and the board games and puzzles and books, you always have something to keep you amused and either burn off your energy or enjoy a quieter activity. The big kitchen is well equipped with a range of pots, pans, and utensils, making holiday cooking a pleasure. The beds are comfy with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone plenty of space. Sam's communications were helpful and friendly.

Nick and Judy’s Pavilion is a gem and a beautiful example of modern architecture that is sensitive to local surroundings and other local buildings. It is bright and spacious and full of clever design features that makes great use of space and enhance cross-breezes inside when it is warm. It features high ceilings, a huge shower room space in the bathroom, wrap-around window seats in the bedroom, and a clever kitchenette space behind a pull down screen that hides it away when you don’t want to look at it. Large windows capture views of lovely expanses of lawn and gardens and offer peeks of the orchards beyond. A short trail at the back of the property takes you down to a park with a stream and a great walking trail that leads at either end to bridges offering access to Havelock North and Hastings. Nick and Judy are great hosts - offering recommendations as well as information about the property and providing fresh bread, milk, eggs and homemade jams and granola upon arrival.

Beautiful home, the photos do not do this place justice. Wenhua was very hospitable and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Angela’s place is simply amazing. A wonderful location with perfect views! The property has everything you could ever need with perfect communication from the host’s. When we are next in the area we will be staying again!

Great place to stay for a night for work. Very safe and quiet. Close to restaurants for dinner and easy for walking up Te Mata Peak :)

Hillary's place is not for everyone but if you like quirky and arty then this place will suit. Heaps of room and good location. As Hillary says she would love to upgrade bathroom but then the price would go up, which defeats her purpose of offering good accom at an extremely good rate, which means you can afford to stay longer and enjoy the location.

This was a great place to stay for our large group! Perfect location and lots of space for everyone! Didn’t feel crowded or crammed and had beautiful amenities. Highly recommended :)

The team and I enjoyed the stay while in Hastings for work. The pool was well recieved after a hard day and we were lucky enough to be their while all the citris and plum trees were overloading with fruits. The neigh-bours were a great addition (multiple horses, sheeps and a donkey). Made for a peaceful enjoyable stay, the recliner couches and massage beds were also a nice surprise. John and Wendy are lovely hosts who I enjoyed chatting with when we saw them feeding the animals. Would like to go back with the wife and kids one day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful historic home, wonderful pool and many outdoor spaces with gorgeous views, being up on the bluff. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Rick was nearby and responsive without being intrusive. He loves to share the interesting history of the home. I personally enjoyed playing the very nice grand piano. I also loved the high ceilings and big kitchen. The stove is amazing. The neighborhood is very residential and interesting to see. I’m so glad we discovered Rick and Judy’s home!

Alices home is such a perfect house for a family holiday. The kids loved it so much, we all did. The swimming pool was such a bonus on those hot days. Alice was an amazing host and communication was really good throughout our stay. Our family had a great time & the adults really enjoyed the table tennis too. The house has everything you need. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to come back 😊. Thanks so much Alice for having us.
