Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rotorua

Great location and clean. Was perfect for a short stay. Parking space fit large vehicle.

We had an amazing stay at rotorua. Our family was happy and satisfied. Thank you once again katie for being a friendly host and very responsive.

We used Joss and Wayne's place for a team building retreat. It was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen for our self-catering, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Joss and Wayne were great hosts - showed us where everything was and then left us to it. As well as the great kitchen, there was also a lovely outside area with a BBQ for relaxing at night. Great venue. Would highly recommend.

We went on a business trip and decided to extend our stay and make a mini holiday out of it. Once we arrived after numerous meetings, my colleague and I went to check in and it was super easy. Enough towels and we didn't have to share a bed and had both our own space when we were ready to turn in for the night. Large kitchen and two bathrooms, which made getting ready easy as we didn't have to be in each others space at all times. We had a spa and when we raised an issue of the outside heater not working, Dharmen was wonderful and immediatly exchanged it the next morning whilst we were out and about.

This house was perfect for our small group of friends to catch up & relax. The proximity to redwoods & a park was excellent and we loved the hot spa. The kitchen had all we needed & the heat pump kept us cosy. Bedrooms were chilly so we appreciated the electric blankets.

Very homely feeling. Jonathan left very clear instructions for the magical hot pool and other things in the home. House was clean and tidy and very cosy. Very close to shopping centre, everything at close proximity. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Rotorua 😃

We had a wonderful stay here The view is fantastic and we had everything we needed. It is very family friendly, there is a box of toys for children, some board games and a garden to run around in. One of my group has some mobility issues so it helped that this place was mostly on one level, with only a few steps here and there. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need for preparing meals. It's the kind of place where kitchen items left from previous people are there so there were was cooking oil, salt and spices we could use. There is a coffee plunger and a mocha pot (bring your own ground coffee and milk) to use. The street is quiet, with the occasional bleating of sheep and safe. There is lots of space and three loos so good for groups. I would recommend this place and definitely stay again.

This is the top accommodation I’ve experienced in Rotorua. Both the interior and exterior are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The actual place looks even better than the photos. You can enjoy a private hot spring with peaceful scenery, and there‘s a lakefront and playground just a 3-minute walk away, making it the perfect accommodation where parents and children can all enjoy together.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

What a great place to stay! Close enough to the city and all of its attractions and far enough away from the ‘sweet’ smells of Rotorua. We enjoyed the wonderful daytime views and starry nights. The accommodations were comfortable like our own home.

A comfortable stay in a central location. We enjoyed being allowed to visit the pool (and hot pool for adults) at the hotel across the road.

Jerry's place was awesome nice and cozy good spot for the dog to run around clean and tidy and the water was so good. Jerry was really nice and friendly easy to talk to and very responsive. Even had some nice eggs from the chickens

The perfect stay for us in Rotorua. The apartment is perfect for kids; toys, books, double bunk bed, kid toilet seat, kids plates and a huge garden with slides/ swings/ trampoline. There is so much to see and do in Rotorua, we had a great time. Aaron and Lorna were really responsive hots and really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Check-in was well described with photos, so the place and the key were easy to find. The place is in a quiet place, a supermarket is nearby and you can get to town quickly by bus.

Great host, excellent house & great location. We stayed for New Years and could see the fireworks over the city. House and pool both clean and lovely.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and tidy. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. Would recommend bringing own pillows and blankets as the ones provided were a little old and worn out, but other than that we would happily return :-)

It was good to visit there The view overlooking rotorua lake and city is great I was worried about entering there but it was easy to go uphill by SUV I wanted to go to farm but I had no time

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Cheeky Tūī. It was perfectly set up for our two young boys who especially enjoyed the box of Duplo and the trampoline. We had an excellent time exploring the nearby lagoon and were lucky enough to spot trout spawning in the steam. Looking forward to our next adventure at Lake Tarawera!

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.
