Our rustic guesthouse is set in our back garden along with a Giant Flemish bunny, chickens and our 7 year old Labrador Rex. The space is private and has a double bedroom with a comfy queen bed & ensuite. There's a separate lounge with kitchenette & dining space, basic TV & cozy sofa, surrounded by a deck with gas BBQ. We are by no means luxurious, but do guarantee inspiration, character & heaps of love for our home

Our self-contained studio is set well off the road in a mature garden. Many native trees attract tui, fantail and the occasional kaka. Double glazed windows and air-con ensure a cosy and comfortable space year-round. The studio is close to, but private from the main house. The space is comfortable for 2 adults. An extra person (child) would sleep on a foam mattress on the floor. Please note: Studio is one open space. Bedroom, living space, kitchen (separate bathroom).

As a group of 5 girlfriends we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our weekend away. We loved the cosy house it was nice and warm , beds comfy and had everything we needed . The location was amazing with access to a private lakefront spot. Ngaire was a fabulous super host so helpful and going extra mile for us to ensure we had a lovely stay. Can’t recommend enough and would love to comeback in summer !

The perfect stay for us in Rotorua. The apartment is perfect for kids; toys, books, double bunk bed, kid toilet seat, kids plates and a huge garden with slides/ swings/ trampoline. There is so much to see and do in Rotorua, we had a great time. Aaron and Lorna were really responsive hots and really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Lakefront guest house

Oh WOW! This place was so special. Homely, relaxed, lovely linen and furnishings. Loads of room for lawn cricket with the kids and long summer clothes evenings lakeside with a wine. Wonderful little bay that felt like stepping back in time to what bach life at the lake was and still should be. A short boat ride to the hot pools and directly opposite Honeymoon Bay for rock jumping. An excellent ramp to tie up our boat.

We had a great stay at Ryan & Andrea’s place. It was spacious and clean, bright and welcoming! And it somehow looked better than the photos! It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The induction cooker, pots and pans and cooking utensils were very useful. So was the coffee machine, and the chocolate was the best! The location was great and the neighbourhood was safe too. It was walking distance to a laundromat and a lovely bakery and cafe. Also close enough to all the attractions in Rotorua. We would definitely recommend Ryan & Andrea’s place to everyone looking for a place to stay in Rotorua!
