We have so enjoyed living permanently in our motorhome, we thought we’d share the experience. The motor home provides you with everything you need to live - cooking facilities, small fridge, shower, flushing toilet, comfortable double bed, all in good condition, and even a small log burner. If you have ever considered living in a tiny house, now is the time to try one!
“A fun and lovely place to stay. Warren and Thelma were great hosts. They communicated quickly and had the fire going for us on our arrival so it was nice and cozy. They also restocked the wood supply for us for our second night, which was much appreciated. It was a very comfortable stay and a great experience. Would happily stay again.”
Tastefully remodelled house and new sleepout, fully insulated double glazed windows. Large bathroom with gas hot water and large kitchen/dining/family room opening onto a large deck. Warm and cosy in winter with large flat section of garden and trees that is also delightfully cool in summer. Very close to river with specimen trees and walking distance across the bridge to Turangi shops. Carport attached to house for dry access. Quiet street adjacent to the Tongariro River.
“Lovely quiet spot near the river and bike path with large back yard. The house was really well equipped with condiments etc and was a very comfortable stay for six adults. There was an issue with the washing machine which I'm sure will be attended to.”
Welcome! My home is just outside of Turangi on the southern end of Great Lake Taupo and on the banks of the acclaimed trout fishing Tongariro River. A short drive to Tongariro Alpine Crossing, 40 minute drive to Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe or Taupo Central. Check out recent pics on Instagram @whiteandbluebnb :)
“Richard is a lovely man with an equally lovely home. This was our first BnB stay and the bar has been set very high allready. Everything is very tidy and homely, and a comprehensive breakfast was just what we needed after many days camping in the cold. Richard was incredibly welcoming and helpful and his dog Bella was so sweet. Thank you Richard I hope we will be staying again soon.”
