Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Testaccio

We enjoyed our stay at Stefano’s place. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. It is close to the metro, and the building has an elevator. Highly recommended.

The flat was charming and beautiful. The location right on the subway line was fabulous. Lots of great food options within walking distance. The area felt safe and friendly. The communication was always clear and prompt. I’m would recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Rome!

Very comfortable stay, booked 4 nights and definitely enjoyed the stay. Simple apartment with a nice public terrace (nobody really used it when we did, so felt like we had it all to ourselves). Right next to a gym for those who needs to workout on vacation. Andrea was extremely helpful and a great host. Location of the apartment is just few mins walk to the Colleseum & 15-20 mins bus ride away to city centre.

We stayed here for 5 nights with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. To our surprise, the apartment was even bigger than in the photos. Nice beds, light and spacious. Big gym in the building with good equipment like in a real gym. A plus for real fitness fans. Super good communication with Alessia. Responded quickly and proactively. We had leakage in the bathroom and action was taken right away. Check out was at 10:00 and our flight didn't go until 7pm. But because the new guests only came in the evening, we were allowed to check out (after consultation with the cleaning lady) at 4:30 pm. That was fantastic! Nearby supermarkets and restaurants, train station, tram and bus towards Colosseum and Piazza Venezia (20 min) in front of the door. At 15-20 min walking distance you can walk to the heart of this bustling Trastevere district full of restaurants, street performers, markets and very cozy neighborhood. I would recommend this district and this apartment in Roma Trastevere. Quiet, yet everything nearby.

We have enjoyed every aspect of our trip. Rome is an unbelievable city, the Funny House was the perfect location, spacious, clean, nicely decorated. What made the difference though was the service we have received! Very quick in responding, clean instructions, arranging transfer to and from the airport, flexible check in. Happy guests! Kristof

We feel at home! The apartment was exactly like the one described, as well as very smelling right when we opened the door! We have utensils necessary for all meals, we are able to prepare our breakfast every day and even dinner. A great location, a quiet spot near the metro station. Not to mention that Francesco was an excellent host, responding super fast, gave us several tips on where to go and what to eat and was always willing to help!

Jimmy is probably the most helpful host I've ever met.We are coming to Rome by car, there are convenient free parking spots near our stay, and he is also very familiar with transportation to the Vatican or Rome attractions.If you want to go near the Colosseum, you can drive 5 minutes from the accommodation to the nearby subway station.The whole stay is also very comfortable, the TV, microwave oven, and the oven is also unique. The flat is such a cozy place where you can find a big balcony. The interior is very warm and all amenities are new. I would say jimmy is a great and super helpful host. He provides clear check in instructions and many good recommendations on food and places to visit. Such a pleasant experience.

Daniela was very helpful with all our requests. Me, my wife and 2 of our friends stayed 4 days, we immediately felt right at home, Daniela welcomed us in person, fully meeting our expectations. There are family restaurants and a supermarket in the area. For transfers, we used the bus and metro without any problems. There is a dedicated parking space in the courtyard. Recommended.

We loved staying at Monika’s beautiful home. Monika picked us up from the airport which was very welcoming as we had travelled from Australia. She helped us with everything and gave excellent advice. Alcova Room was very comfortable and clean with great care taken in its design and simple decor. Thank you Monika. We enjoyed exploring Ostia Antico and the Lido, and having dinner at Monumenta.

Place is just as it's seen in the photos, 20 mins away from the fontana di trevi, lively but also peaceful surroundings, would recommend it to everyone

Super comfortable place, was within walking distance of most everything. The condo itself was quaint and nice with access to a beautiful balcony that we used to its full effect. Marina was a fantastic host and was extremely responsive whenever we had any questions. Overall a great stay and the price was reasonable!

Had a wonderful stay. The location can’t be beat, steps from cafes and groceries, a block from the metro, it was absolutely perfect.

The place is great and accurately described. Super walkable (to different neighborhoods too) and easy to access. Michelle was great and super helpful. FYI, the washer/dryer is a combined unit so loads can take awhile.

An unforgettable stay in a cozy , beautiful home I had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely charming Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The place is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the patio area offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into every detail, from the decor to the amenities, making this a perfect getaway spot.

Iris was an incredible host, she was always attentive to us and our needs. The apartment is perfect for a vacation, it is close to the Vatican, a 5-minute walk away, and it is also very accessible. When we arrived the apartment was super clean, it is a very comfortable apartment and we personally loved it, I'm sure we'll be back. We recommend it to all guests.

The place is great! We stayed here for 4 nights and had everything we needed. Of course, the apartment is not in the center, but everything was still easily accessible by public transport. We also felt safe in the area and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. The owner really always responded very quickly and was super friendly! I can only recommend it!

Tranquil place very easily accessible to services and nearby hamlets. The facilities are excellent and Stafano goes above and beyond in advising and supporting guests navigate the area and services. I highly recommend Stefano's place and would love to stay again, for a bit longer.

Very cool place. New equipment and big screen smart TV. Everything is very clean. There is underfloor heating in the accommodation, but unfortunately the floor is cold right in front of the toilet. Maybe that's the only negative. The owners are very nice.
