The Aran is an experience that begins with the journey on foot to get there: crossing the forest you immerse yourself in a wonderful atmosphere, walking through the ruins of villages of the past and listening to the sounds of the forest (we suggest traveling light). From arrival to departure, the availability of the family who welcomed us was exquisite in every sense: from the thoughtfulness towards our child (we traveled as a family of 3), to the advice on things to do and for the delicious breakfasts and dinners that were served to us. The attic we stayed in was small but contained everything we needed. The view from the terrace and the skylights is something we will miss tonight. Several paths develop from the house: the visit to the Sanctuary of Santa Chiara was intense. We recommend it to all people who want to spend days "in purity", without frills but full of everything you need, exactly as the Aran is.

The place is fantastic, cared for in every detail. There are several very nice hiking options nearby. Ceres, a couple of minutes by car, offers everything you may need (market, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.). Romina was super kind and helpful, giving us a lot of tips for restaurants and excursions. We had a great time, recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

We spent three beautiful days surrounded by nature. Beautiful and clean place. Friendly and kind hosts. The Finnish bathtub was the icing in this nice stay. Highly recommended!

I was here for a weekend and came home very satisfied. The apartment was as described, the place was quiet and Gisella turned out to be a great host. She was very friendly right away giving us a lot of information about the place and the activities to do, as well as being very friendly and flexible on schedules. She and her husband were wonderful people, I highly recommend her place and will definitely come back if you are in the area!
