Monthly Rentals in Moiano

From start to finish Alfonso was super helpful. He gave us great recommendations and was really responsive throughout our trip if we had any questions. Antonio who lives below the apartment also went above and beyond to make our holiday extra special. I was initially concerned we had chosen somewhere too remote as we did not want to hire a car but we got to do everything we wanted to do with public transport and our hosts even helped out with our arrangements. Moiana is a lovely village with friendly people, good cafe and restaurant, shops and a fab take away nearby. The apartment terrace is lovely for peaceful evenings, watching the sunset, listening to the birds (and church bells!) and mountain views. Moiano felt like a haven following the touristy areas of Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano. A visit to nearby Mount Faito is also recommended for the views. You only get there by car. Be wise and take a small rental car, the road is very narrow and steap.

We loved our stay here! Our family of 6 was comfortable and enjoyed getting to explore this area of Italy. Girolamo seems to be known and loved by everyone in the town and he has amazing recommendations of what to do that go beyond all the tourist traps of the Amalfi coast. I highly recommend having a conversation with him (he speaks good English) the first day you stay here and make your plans accordingly. Danilo and his parents are truly the best hosts I’ve ever had on Airbnb — and I’ve stayed in nearly 50 places over the past 9 years. They went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. They stayed up late for our check-in, set up an additional bed even when we insisted on doing it ourselves, and so much more. They also recommended a nearby restaurant where we had one of the best meals of our entire stay in Sorrento. You can really feel that they love hosting and always give their best — it makes a huge difference in the experience. Thanks again for everything!
