Vacation rentals with beach access in Merida

Loved the place! Beach front was just beautiful. Relaxing and peaceful place. Very good location. Loved the balcony in the front with great views and bird watching. We would love to come back!

AC is not always available. I believe its only in Summertime and preferably only at night. (It should say this on the description, but it doesn’t). We knew going in, so it wasn’t as big a deal for us. Power is an issue throughout Chelem. Electric Company charges high rates if usage is over a certain level. You can sometimes negotiate paying more to use the AC but not leaving it on all the time. You have to turn off when You leave. They ask You to conserve energy where You can. The last night we stayed, there was a band playing in the street up front. It was really loud so sleeping was tough. Obviously this isn’t their fault!! You would have had this issue staying anywhere within a half mile of the event 😞 The hosts are Wonderful people! The restaurant below is a great place to eat and/or drink in Chelem! If You are OK with these couple inconveniences, I highly recommend staying with Jill and Martin.

Beautiful place block away from the beach in the center of the malecón. Loved it would definitely stay again. Daisy was very attentive and responded very quickly to any questions.

Without a doubt the location for me is magnificent, you walk 1 block and you have the malecón, 1 house a six to buy drinks and on the corner the restaurants astros for breakfast or lunch.

The site and location are adorable! Resting and relaxing, enjoying the sea, the pool, is the best we have had in the Chuburna-Chelem area!

Very good place, if we return to Progreso we would definitely stay here again.

Sonya’s place was exactly what we needed for a restful week. Hearing the waves day and night made relaxing easy! The studio is so comfortable and sitting on the porch was the perfect way to end each day. Sonya is absolutely lovely. She arranged for airport transfers and gave a ton of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The town of Chuburná is walkable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Gloria is a caring and very kind host willing to make her tenants feel at home. I booked her house for 10 days for some family members who said they felt super comfortable and she was attentive in case they needed anything else, but the house has everything so there was no need to bother her.

Paty and David were always very attentive, and available for everything we needed, very friendly communication, I would definitely come back

Super quiet place and nearby there is a convenience store so you don't need anything, I will definitely repeat

It was a pleasant stay; her family was very homey. I didn't know that the room is above her house and there is a door that separates us, but there were no issues at all:)

The apartment is just like the description of the listing , Elena awaiting arrival and departure , the very safe area 5 min away by car from the progress beaches, I would definitely stay again

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

Mariterre is an excellent host. She is very responsive and was very generous with her time and attention. She made many suggestions and even showed us around the boardwalk and nearby wetlands. We could not ask for a better greeting from her and her son. The place itself was very comfortable, fully equipped, and well maintained with excellent AC. Every little detail was considered from wall magnet's that hold the doors in place on windy days to full window blinds that are easy to use etc...

Excellent location! The apartment is really nice!! There were some things that Salvador took care of for me right away, and he was very kind. I'll definitely put it on my list to come back when I feel like spending another weekend on the beach. Thank you very much!!

I want to start by thanking Roxana, as she was very responsive to any questions, inquiries or issues. While we never met in person, she was always available. Gracias! On the second day I arrived, the water and electricity were off (heavy rain), but the maintenance team (as well as Roxana) were on top of it and fixed it fairly quickly! The apartment itself is very pleasant, and the pool is a nice bonus and very close to the beach...you may need to walk a little to get to a nice beach space, but it is nice and private in the area - it feels peaceful. Walking distance, you have a pub with many expats, but can walk 40 minutes (or a short Uber drive) to go into Progreso center to have more options (restaurants, beaches, mixed crowds, entertainment, shopping...). Overall, it was a very nice stay, and perfect for a couple wanting to retreat and relax with no agenda. Muchas gracias Roxana!

Oscar always attentive and very friendly, easy to arrive, accessible, from there you can move to different areas, the progress beach is very nice and has Many places to enjoy delicious food. Definitely a good place to spend a few days.
