Monthly Rentals in Mel

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming farm stay in Belluno (the Dolomite area of Italy), and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled amidst the breathtaking Dolomite mountains, with awe-inspiring views that were nothing short of a nature lover's dream. Mozzafiato - practicing my Italian and I think that is the right word for "breathtaking"! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a genuine sense of tranquility. The accommodations were cozy, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. I woke up to the stunning sight of the majestic mountains and the serene expanse of an orchard right from my window. It was a true treat for the senses. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and recommended an amazing restaurant nearby al Moro! Moto bene!!!

Carmen was super kind, she welcomed us as if we were family, she even gave us the eggs of her chickens and made us find everything we needed for breakfast. The house is very large with a very well-heated stube and has all the appliances. Absolutely positive experience, thank you Carmen!

The apartment is very large, spacious, bright, very clean and well equipped. In the house there were also soaps, shampoos and some basic necessities in the kitchen. Very comfortable in the center of Mel. A little noisy because it's along the main street, but the fixtures insulate well from noise. Recommended!

Marianna is genuinely the nicest host I’ve ever dealt with. She is very responsive, provided us with suggestions for food and things to do. She looked up bus schedules and sent them to us. She even picked us up when we got stranded! Honestly the most lovely host I could not speak highly enough about her 🖤 The place was stunning and covered in beautiful artwork. The location is spectacular and there’s a horse ranch next door and we got to pat the horses. If you’re going to be staying for more than a couple of days I would say rent a car as you’ll be able to get around easier, however we did mostly fine with the buses and walking :) All in all I highly recommend staying at the painted house, we had a lovely time!
