It was all we needed and more. Kit was friendly, helpful and a great host. She recommended a great little cider bar with live music and a friendly, interesting local scene. Mancos is a gem of town and worth checking out. We so appreciated Kits hospitality and all of her recommendations. Will definitely go back!”
Rustic yet contemporary peaceful two-story Mountain Farm Guesthouse. Thoughtfully furnished to accommodate up to 6. Conveniently located between Durango and Telluride on the famous San Juan Skyway. Very close to Mesa Verde (20 minutes), trails, skiing, paddle boarding, canoeing, and mountain biking. Perfect for friends, couples and families. Amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, playgrounds, and brew pubs 10 minutes away in Mancos or Dolores. Chickens and goats are great fun for all!
What guests are saying:“Sarah's place is just lovely and has everything you need for a fun visit to the area. It is quite close to Mesa Verde, but away from the touristy hotels, so you can get a sense of what it is like to live in the area. It is spotless and the kitchen is well-appointed. With two comfortable bedrooms plus a living room, we felt like we had enough space to get time to ourselves if we needed, but mostly we enjoyed playing board games in the living room after dinner. Sarah was great about responding to questions and was very welcoming. We loved being able to say hi to the goats before we headed out for our daily adventures.”

What guests are saying:“We really enjoyed our time at Jeanne's. The area, space, amenities, and our host herself were all fantastic. Although the wifi signal was too weak where we were, Jeanne graciously offered us her porch and even her personal office! There is a hot tub, a grill, and a nice set of outdoor chairs onsite, all of which we enjoyed immensely. Our bed and room (sort of an efficiency apartment setup) were comfortable, and floor-to-ceiling windows afforded a beautiful view of Mesa Verde and the desert highlands. Our dog loved it too. Interacting with Jeanne was also a pleasure - she's a great conversationalist, gracious, responsive, cordial and respectful. We highly recommend it!”
