Waterfront vacation rentals in Malacca Strait

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

Great location! Walkable distance to gurney bay (in my opinion), I did walk to my work place. Clear instructions from Charles. I am really appreciate that Charles actually stayed up till 4am to wait for me. (Check-in). Great place and definitely will stay again during next trip here in Penang. Thank you!

Pros : - Worthy place to stay - Easy check in & check out - Responsive host - clean and complete with all the basic needs - the bed & pillowa are nice and comfortable Cons: - A bit dirty with birds stain at the balcony area. - the lift for the room level got problem. The go down button not functioning. So you need to use another level lift

Very friendly host and clean place!

This is my second time booking at Ken's house. He is always so welcoming. He is around to welcome and explain to me about the house during check-in time. He was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The house was at its top conditions, equipped with all necessary amenities. Most of the rooms are with bathroom attached. It's a cozy place. If you have a big family visiting Penang, this house is highly recommended. It is situated at a strategic location, near to town area and Penang Bridge. Lots of restaurants and hawker centres nearby. If you are not planning to tour anywhere in Penang, there's a KTV in the house. You can use it with a minimal fee. Once again, Ken's place is highly recommended.

Recommended for family with kids since it has a very spacious land space. But it couldve been great if the land is levelled so that it is easier car to move around. Other than that, love the charactheristic of the house, beach 2 mins walks, theres plenty of eateries nearby.

The kitchen is to die for it is so spacey (we get to do lots of activities) , filled with cooking tools, beautiful and relaxing. Love the glass door around it.. The pool is deeper and wider than it look so both swimmer and non swimmer can enjoy ( pelampung do necessary for the kids).. The lake right at the back of the house is excellent for kayak lover.. The owner was really responsive to all inquiries... There is a lot of space around the house so we can bentang toto here and there... The toilet is clean and modern... I love the old heritage vibe around the house... We get to see lots of accessories from the past remind me of my childhood... The yard is wide and well maintained.. There is no selut at all so we can enjoy outdoor sukaneka to the fullest... I appreciate that there is a separate area for bbq so the entire house does not smell like smoke... We never get to feel bored around the house... There are so many things to do: bicycle, fishing, kayaking, swimming and badminton.

We felt very comfortable at Jay’s house. The place is truly unique – the pool with its breathtaking view of Old Lanta is stunning, and the view from the master bedroom is fantastic. The house is huge, and our kids could hardly believe they were staying in such a villa. What they didn’t love so much: in the back room, they were woken up at 6 AM by chickens and a rooster. But that’s just part of living in nature 😉 We only stayed for two nights, but we still enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you so much, dear Jay, for everything! My family had a wonderful stay here, with plenty of space for outdoor activities. We enjoyed spending time playing in the river.

One of the most beautiful houses I’ve been in on Airbnb. It’s right at the sea so most days the wind blew through the house and it was nice and doable (we were in highseason so it was 32 degrees). The sound of the waves also very nice. Bedding smelled amazing!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb with a group of 8 adults and 10 kids! The villa was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and the caretaker was incredibly responsive and helpful, even arranging F&B options for us, which made our stay even more convenient. The location is strategic, with a clean and peaceful beach right in front of the property. Our kids loved the spacious pool and spent hours there. The villa itself was also well-equipped with a mini putting range, an outdoor ping pong table, and a beach soccer court, providing endless entertainment options for everyone. The space felt open and tranquil, perfect for unwinding with family and friends. We especially enjoyed the upper deck lounge, where we could relax and take in the breathtaking views of Tanjung Jara Beach. I had a cozy and comfortable stay at this Airbnb. The space was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The host was very responsive and accommodating, making check-in and the overall experience smooth. A couple of minor downsides during the stay: • The downstairs bathroom light was flickering after some time, which was a bit inconvenient. • The gym has been under maintenance since December 2024, so I couldn’t use it, but the swimming pool was available and well-maintained. Other than that, the location was great, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a pleasant stay. Would recommend and consider returning!

Excellent stay! Great location, quiet, pool is beautiful. Stay was very comfortable, bed was good and had everything we needed. Filtered water system was amazing. So nice to not have to haul water. Haris was a great manager and took really good care of us. Highly recommend this place.

Great place, very clean and comfortable. Location is super convenient, lots of makan place within walking distance. Host is very responsible and responsive. This place worth every penny we have paid. Will definitely stay again if we visit PD in future!

Very very clean place. I have dust allergies and didn't have any problems with this unit. Nice new condo with secure parking in a quiet neighbourhood. Great if you have your own transport in Melaka.
