Vacation rentals with a sauna in Makahuena Point

A wonderful stay for our young family! Stay was well kept and as pictured. We loved the walk ability to beautiful beaches and access to the Athletic Club. The area is unmatched and the A/C wonderful. Bonus: the kid amenities. It doesn’t go unnoticed that Shaun and his wife are parents and took the time to think of the little things. Little fish is a definite bonus across the street! We hope to be back. As hotel owners ourselves we would highly recommend this stay.

This condo was exactly what we needed. Location is walkable to coffee shops, clothing stores, restaurants, it’s right on the beach and has a lovely paved path that we did our morning runs on while the sun rose. The condo itself was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The concierge was super friendly and helpful when we decided to book an excursion. He had the kayaking booked for us in all of 45 seconds of us walking into his office. Lots of laundry rooms, gym (although small and it doesn’t open until 8am), pool, hot tub, and activities for families. Staff were helpful and super friendly. Would stay again!

It was a great place to stay. I guess the only thing I had issues with was the upstairs occupants . Felt like they were up pacing off and on through the night right above our bedroom. Only lasted about three night then I think they checked. Other than that was a great place. Unfortunately we didn’t use the amenities due to such a busy itinerary. But we did manage to walk around the last day to check it all out. We would stay there again. Was very convenient for us.

We loved our stay at this condo! The rooms were incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of activities. It truly felt like a luxurious retreat. The overall setup of the condo, from the cozy ambiance to the hassle-free parking and key access, made it a safe and comfortable home base for our trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms was a bit weak, which made it challenging to stay connected at times. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to everything else the condo had to offer.

Our stay at this Kauai condo was absolutely perfect! Shaun and Megan were wonderful hosts- communicative, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The location couldn’t have been better… just a short walk to the beach, shops, and great local restaurants. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the extra touches like beach towels, chairs, and a cooler—so helpful for our days exploring the island. The resort had a nice ocean view. We especially liked being able to walk to stores and restaurants. We really liked the walkable, swimming beach there. We bought two Walmart chairs and sat in the shade of the trees. They provide a nice room for checked guests to sit, watch tv and store luggage. The staff were all very nice except the pool lady who yelled at certain guests (one with a four year old) for diving and then when they jumped in, she yelled at them again. We would definitely stay there again!

Not the fanciest unit you can find, but was clean, and the balcony was fantastic. Definitely good value.

This condo was a bit more than I usually spend in a week in Kauai but it was well worth the extra money. Fantastic spacious kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you need to make meals meant we spent less on going out to eat. Rooms were very comfortable and the closets were chock full of towels and beach gear. Really enjoyed our stay. Make sure you check out the croquet pitch near the back patio.

Absolutely loved staying here! The location of the unit is perfect because you get an amazing, peaceful view of all the foliage. There’s a really cool mini botanical trail that leads you to the cliffs with amazing views of the ocean. All the amenities the unit offered were perfect for what we needed on this trip! My girlfriend has a sixth sense for finding amazing places (she hunts recommendations like treasures) and once again she nailed it. This property delivered - spotless, spacious two-bedroom layout with efficient cooling that saved us during some hot Kauai days. Best part? The location. You're on one edge of the island's half-circle layout, which was perfect for us. Less traffic, fewer crowds, no sprawl. Just a quick walk to stunning beaches and a short drive to Hanalei, our favorite town on the island. We woke up to gorgeous views every morning. Mala the cat became our unofficial vacation buddy, showing up for afternoon naps on the regular. You'll need to keep the bedroom doors open at night for the heat pump to cool you. Also grab groceries before arriving - the kitchen starts completely empty. Worth every penny for a perfect Kauai home base.

Very beautiful location Easy to get to local shops and beaches - very lush landscape

Great home in a nice location. We appreciated the amenities, particularly the spa. We were also able to walk to a beach (although steep) and drive to another within 10 minutes. House is close enough to walk to several places (grocery, shops, restaurants) which was great. Host was responsive and everything we expected based on the listing was accurate.

This place was a peaceful tropical hideaway — lush, green, and full of bird sounds from morning to night. The kitchen had everything one could need, and the beds made it easy to sleep like a baby. Afternoons by the pool with homemade smoothies became a daily habit. The island is wild and beautiful, perfect for snorkeling, turtle spotting, and scenic drives.
