Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Madeira Island

Really enjoyed staying in this apartment . It has lovely views and a super bus service to Funchal round the corner. Other buses to Funchal at bottom of the hill. This is also a very well equipped apartment. The host was always available for help and many leaflets and timetables were left for you to browse through. There is a lift and stairs to the floor we were on .w We really enjoyed living in this very comfortable and clean apartment..

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Isabel is een super lieve gastvrouw. Ze is erg behulpzaam. Appartement is ook erg fijn, 2 schone slaapkamers , badkamer is in orde, heel fijn. Het fijn dat het appartement een eigen parkeerplaats heeft. Het is wel even opletten met binnen rijden omdat je een klein stukje omhoog moet, maar heel Madeira is heuvelachtig 😂

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist mitten im Zentrum und alles sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist etwas ringhörig und daher sind die Leute auf der Gasse gut zu hören. Durch die zentrale Lage kann alles sehr schnell erreicht werden. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Tiefgarage unweit von der Wohnung entfernt.

I had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The apartment was immaculately clean, tidy, and spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. It’s centrally located, making it easy to explore Funchal, yet it’s also surprisingly peaceful, providing a quiet retreat after a day out. The beds were really comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the view from the apartment was lovely—a perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or evening wind-down. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira.

We spent a month in the apartment and felt at home right from the start. The interior is stylish and decorated with great attention to detail, and the view over Funchal is simply fantastic – especially in the mornings and evenings, a real highlight. The location is excellent – it’s easy to get everywhere, yet pleasantly quiet. The apartment is very well equipped – absolutely nothing is missing. It was also ideal for working: we worked remotely for two weeks, handling large amounts of data, and the internet was absolutely reliable and fast. Miguel is a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available. He proactively gave us many great tips and took care of everything with genuine attention. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment – and Miguel as a host. Thank you for the wonderful time, Miguel – and hopefully see you again soon!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Jedoch ein Auto sollte man haben, ansonsten könnte es schwierig werden.

Wir waren für 9 Nächte in der Unterkunft von Johnny und haben eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt. Johnny ist ein toller Host, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Unser Sonnenschirm und unsere Sonnenliege sind kaputt gegangen, am nächsten Tag hat Johnny uns schon neue gebracht. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und groß. Es gibt Lagebericht kleine Tierchen, die aber mit regelmäßigem saugen kein großes Problem darstellen. Die Aussicht ist top und das Grundstück sehr sicher.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt und die Lage ist sensationell. Es war alles da was man braucht und uns wurde auch vor Ankunft das Reisebett aufgebaut.

A beautiful, immaculate house with EVERYTHING a guest could hope for. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a house that was so well equipped. It is located quite far from the old Town of Funchal and a bus or taxi ride is essential. If you haven’t been to Funchal before you need to get used to its hilly setting. Some are very steep, but there are plenty buses and taxis both priced very modestly. You will not be disappointed with this house, its pool and stunning views.

Een prachtige woning en groot genoeg voor 6 personen. Heel erg schoon en goed geoutilleerd. 3 badkamers! Parkeren is wel lastig, maar met de videoinstructie lukt het wel, tenzij je een hele grote auto hebt. We raden dit huis ten zeerste aan als je van een rustige omgeving houdt. Prachtig uitzicht. En een jacuzzi!!!

Nous avons passé une séjour très agréable. Angela est d'une très grande gentillesse, accueillante et disponible. Le logement ne manque de rien, très propre, spacieux, avec une vue sur l'océan magnifique. Nous recommandons vivement.

Die Unterkunft ist super. Der Blick vom Balkon ist wahnsinnig schön. Carlos ist gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Insgesamt hatten wir einen perfekten Aufenthalt im Apartment und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Danis Apartment. Es ist modern ausgestattet, sehr sauber und bietet eine herrliche Aussicht. Tabs/Pods für Spül-/Waschmaschine sind vorhanden. Es gab sogar ein sehr liebevoll zusammengestelltes Willkommenspaket. Einen Mietwagen solltet ihr aber in jedem Fall haben, da zu Fuß nicht wirklich viel erreichbar ist. Es sind vier Parkplätze (für jedes Apartment einer) vorhanden. Der Standort ist super, um z.B. die Levada das 25 Fontes (PR6) oder Levada Nova bzw. Moinho zu erkunden. Wer einfach nur abschalten will, kann auf einer der Liegen am Pool oder auf dem eigenen Balkon entspannen. Wir können Danis Apartment uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden es jederzeit erneut buchen :-).

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit der traumhaften Aussicht- beim Frühstück und Abendessen haben wir die Aussicht sehr genossen! Leider ist die nahe gelegene Hauptstraße lauter als erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, besonders die Waschmaschine haben wir sehr gerne bei unserem längeren Aufenthalt genutzt, in der Küche lässt es sich auch etwas ausgiebiger kochen. Die Wohnung ist ansprechend eingerichtet, an manchen Stellen jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb der Stadt, man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen haben, jedoch erreicht man somit einige tolle Wanderungausgangspunkte mit dem Auto etwas zügiger.

Goed gelegen accomodatie. Kleine supermarkt en bakkerij heel dichtbij. Evenals restaurants waar je lekker kon eten. Alles aanwezig voor een zorgeloze vakantie. luchthaven en Funchal op minder dan 15min rijden.

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

Fijn appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken. Eigen parkeerplaats in garage. Zeer dichtbij de oceaan. Snel en vriendelijk contact met eigenaar. Mooie locatie om het eiland te ontdekken.

Wir haben 9 schöne Tage auf Madeira verbracht und durften dabei in Carlos' Wohnung leben. Carlos war sehr hilfsbereit bei allen unseren Fragen und hat beim CheckIn flexibel auf unseren Wunsch reagiert. Carlos hatte Wasser, Kaffee, Brot, Obst für ein erstes Frühstück bereit gelegt. In der Wohnung haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt, sie ist nett eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man braucht. Von der Terrasse hat man einen seitlichen Meerblick. Die Lage in Funchal ist super, man kommt gut zu Fuß in die Altstadt und auch per Auto gut aus der Stadt heraus. Sehr wichtig ist der Stellplatz für den Mietwagen in der Tiefgarage. Es muss aber, auch wegen den Straßen auf Madeira, ein Kleinwagen sein. 5 Minuten zu Fuß ist ein tolles portugiesisches Restaurant (Cai D'Queixo), sehr zu empfehlen Vielen Dank an Carlos für alles. Wir würden die Wohnung von Carlos wieder buchen.
