Beachfront vacation rentals in Long Island

Our family absolutely loved our stay! my husband and I brought our 4 year old and 16 year old with our dog out for a weekend away and loved every minute. Ben was super friendly and responsive and always available if we needed anything. there were board games we played and a piano. we enjoyed a walk around the lake and watched a movie at night...huge TV. We loved the view so much we got take out both nights just to sit together in the kitchen watching the view and there was a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. There is a christmas tree farm 15 mins away and great food choices for takeout or dinning out. There was more than enough room for our family of 4! I loved how we had everything we needed from plates to glasses to coffee and paper products. Ben the host was always available for help and the house was extremely clean. The master bedroom was completely updated beautifully with a jacuzzi tub and heated flooring! We will coming back again definitely. The kids and us all loved it!

3 of us stayed at Frank’s place for a relaxing girls weekend and we had a great time! Like others have said, the kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals at home. Frank’s house was really clean and in such a beautiful location. It was so idyllic to watch the sun rising over the bay each morning with a cup of coffee. Not much in the are in terms of restaurants but we enjoyed a meal in nearby Bellport which is a short drive away. We also loved driving out to Smith Point for a long walk on the beach one sunny afternoon so overall Mastic Beach is a great location for a weekend on Long Island. Thanks again Frank! We’ll hopefully be back.

The location with a sand beach right outside the door was wonderful. Beautifully appointed house with lots of nautical themed decorations to soak in. The bathrooms were modern, the house cozy and John was easy to communicate with. It was an ideal place to stay for the weekend.

A lovely cottage with great view and right on the beach. Has plenty of windows to enjoy the fresh ocean air. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items (pots, pans, etc). Saw deer on evening walk. We took our dogs for long walks on the beach and left feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Evelina and John were amazing hosts. We went away with a group of friends and our 1 year old for the weekend, and the Lakehouse did not disappoint! Not only was the view unforgettable, but Evelina and John were perfect hosts, and the amenities really made it top notch. From the kayaks/rowboat, to the indoor fireplace, to the Hot Tub, to the baby proofing and toys, everything was taken care of. Our friend even rebooked with his family for December, and we as a group rebooked for next Summer. I highly recommend this airbnb to...literally anybody who wants to have an awesome time. Loved our stay! The house was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better view of the sunset from the private beach. Elvira was super accommodating and helpful throughout the weekend.

The photos don't do it justice—this charming place is even more spacious than it looks online. The vintage decor added a cozy touch that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

My girlfriends enjoyed a nice weekend away. The accommodations were perfect and allowed us to spend some quality time together. The home was just as listed and the location to Ocean Beach Park is fantastic. Carlos was very responsive throughout entire process.

Andrew allowed me to stay in his wonderful apartment where me and my gf enjoyed our time. If I could I would've spent more time at this location. The location was private, quiet, near stores, and sits right by the water. I definitely encourage others to spend some time here if you are looking for a something private, a place where you can clear the mind.

Nothing like waking up to a sunrise in bed. Perfect place for someone who loves the ocean. I couldn’t ask for much more for the price. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway or just some quiet time.

We had a great time! The location was convenient and in close proximity to my brother’s wedding. The location of Vanessa’s home was beautiful and private. Vanessa’s home was spacious, clean and organized. There was one minor issue and Vanessa contacted me quickly. Would definitely love to rent Vanessa’s home another time probably spring/summer, since we were unable to enjoy the pool and other outdoor amenities due to season/weather.

Such a beautiful condo by the water! Too bad we stayed in November, we would have enjoyed the terrace way more! Mia was so responsive and helpful with my questions prior to the weekend at her place.

Overall relaxing stay and trip to Greenport. Sherri is very communicative and her instructions and listing is clear and accurate. The condo is well decorated and clean and has everything you need for a nice weekend. One thing to note- we were aware check in is between 3 and 5 pm based on the listing (wound up being around 4) but it would be nice for it to be earlier. Still 5 stars though!

We spent Thanksgiving in the beautiful Joshua cottage. This was one of the best Airb&b stays we have ever had. The hosts were wonderful- making sure we had everything we needed. The spot directly on the water is magical.

Great house on the water! Incredible views to wake up and enjoy your coffee. Very clean and well maintained. Has everything you need for a great vacation!! Matthew was a great host. Easy and clean communication. I’d definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful!! It was very relaxing, morning views with a cup of coffee was the best in the morning!! The place had everything you to cook , to go the beach !! Only thing I wish I had time for was to paddle board the place had it all !!! Definitely if I’m in the area would stay here again !!! Well worth the money !!!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was perfectly located to allow us to take a great long walk on the boardwalk in the morning, and was an easy drive to the events we were on Long Island for. Bruce was a great host and very responsive to questions ahead of our stay. We so appreciated the special touches like cookies left for us and a bottle of milk to go with our coffee! Our stay was easy and comfortable we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is walkable to lots and shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful and right on the water. Laura goes above and beyond in terms of communication and amenities, and the house is clean, comfortable, and lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home on the water. Peaceful and private. Spent 2 nights with 6 friends from high school for our annual elder girls weekend and had a great time. Plenty of room for all of us.

Chelsea’s place is so magical! I stayed here for a solo mom vacation to reconnect with myself and it was perfect!!!! Beautiful sunsets, respectful neighbors and very quiet. The views are stunning and Chelsea was so an amazing welcoming host. Can’t wait to come back! :)

Spent a great long weekend at this beautiful cottage. Location is really perfect, directly by the water front and the wildlife area, and only short drive from nice restaurants and shopping.
