We had a great time at Paulo's place. The apartment is located in a very quiet area, it is large and well-equipped. Paulo really welcomed us despite a very late arrival on our part. Delicate touches were waiting for us, which is always very nice. We highly recommend this listing!

We had a lovely stay at Ana's place. We were well looked after from the moment I booked. Ana gave us fresh eggs from her own hens and one of her gorgeous cats kept us company every day, whenever we were home. The terrace is a beautiful big space. We enjoyed doing our yoga there each morning. Great amenities throughout and a lovely home feel. Parking was private and easy. Only 5 minutes to the beach, restaurants and shops. 25 minutes to the hot springs in Furnas along a beautiful road. Perfect base for exploring and taking in the treasures of this wonderful island of Sao Miguel.

We stayed 3 nights in Carla's house and all the family had a very pleasant stay. The kids were able to play with the ball outside after our sightseeing, the bedrooms were spotless just as well as the other rooms. Paintings are clean and the kitchen and dining room is nice and spacious. Carla had some very nice attention before we arrived with some chocolate eggs for our 2 boys for Easter and a nice breakfast (jam, milk, small cakes and a bun). So I can only recommand this place. We really enjoyed our stay! This is the perfect place to relax in the wonderful natural surroundings. The house is perfect for two people and the kitchen was well equipped so we cooked every day. There is even a washing machine! What a fantastic location on a hill with a sea view very close to a small fishing village. We also found the supermarket in Povoação well stocked. We will never forget our time on this picturesque terrace.
