Vacation rentals with lake access in Locarno

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Our family of 8 had an amazing time staying at this place. The location was really good especially if you’re spending time in Bellagio and Como Town. The house felt very homey and the views were unreal. Would definetly recommend this place to stay if you’re coming to Lake Como and if you have a car to get around. The host was also very responsive. The outdoor terrace area is what made this place stand out in comparison to other locations, especially when there was good weather.

We spent all of May 2025 at Mattia’s house May 1 to May 31. This experience was amazing! We explored all of Lake Como. The town of Argegno is so amazing and unique. Argegno is the ideal town to select to stay in Lake Como. It is close to everything. We even drove across to Lugano from Argegno. The people and vibe are wonderful. I went each week for a wash and blow dry at the salon. The food establishments are incredible. We would walk to the plaza every morning for our morning coffee alternating from place to place. The ferry stop is right in the town center. The house has an incredible view. The house is historical but the plumbing is spectacular! The house is comfortable. The kitchen is great. It comes with all needed items. Just bring your groceries. I’ve never seen such water pressure and hot water. My husband and I loved our month in Mattias house. We cannot wait to return!

We had such a lovely stay. The house is super beautiful and perfectly located. It was really such a pleasant surprise how beautiful the place really is. We will definitely come back.

Right in front of the lake.. Has a little patio where you can have your coffee. Peaceful. has a dual heater and a/c unit that works great for quick temperature changes.

The view alone is worth the trip!

This is an amazing spot with gorgeous garden views of Lake Como that exceeded our expectations. And the hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. What a great experience!

Such a lovely stay at Alice’s air BnB. Firstly, the pictures do not do the view justice - words can’t describe how beautiful the view is. The location is handy as you’re located not too far out from Como and a short bus journey to Bellagio. The air BnB was spacious and the balcony is such a lovely touch for a breakfast in the morning and a relaxed drink at night. Alice has been the best host I’ve had so far, thank you so much. We would absolutely recommend this place and would happily stay again.

Benedetta was incredible. She was so patient, kind, helpful and always responsive to my many questions. She helped us to secure a driver from the airport who also helped us with check in and was very informative about the building and surroundings; he was great as well. The location was perfect as it was easy to access a walkway to and from restaurants, stores and the ferry. Our stay was amazing and we enjoyed the large grass area and pathways through the property. It was lush and beautiful providing a peaceful area to lounge in our down town. Benedetta was the perfect host and we look forward to going back again in the future! Thank you for everything!

We stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. We chose these apartments for a trip to the St. Gotthard and Oberalp passes, the Devil's Bridge and the Versaska Dam. The apartments are extremely comfortable, cozy with a view of the lake, there is everything you need for your stay - both in the kitchen and in the rooms. But we were extremely impressed by Mario's hospitality. We highly recommend the apartment, you will get an unforgettable experience

Lucy is so warm and friendly and took all things into account. The apartment is even more amazing than the photos, absolutely adorable, very clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent. A warm recommendation to stay at Lucy's apartment.

Our stay went very well. The apartment is very nice and offers a terrace with exceptional lake views. The place is very quiet. Only one downside, the access road but such a place is deserved.

We had an amazing stay in this apartment with a magnificent view of the lake. A host responsive to all your requests! And even offered us an hour of jacuzzi! We will only take the positive! Thank you for everything

This place was beautiful! The space was exactly what we needed for our family of 4 adults and 2 babies. They provided both a crib and high chair which was great. The views from this unit are stunning. We’re so glad we decided to stay in Lenno away from the crowds of the Bellagio and Varenna bc it felt very calming to decompress after a long day of sightseeing in a quieter town. The highlight of this stay was our interaction with Sabrina, the point of contact for your stay, who was absolutely so sweet and helpful with every request or question we had. She really went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

Impeccable accommodation, easy to access and close to some of the villages to visit!

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the serene Lugano Lake, and the availability of a boat and kayaks made every day an adventure. The pizza oven was a delightful highlight, perfect for cozy evenings. The house was spotless, and every amenity listed was thoughtfully provided. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and kept in constant communication, ensuring a seamless stay. Highly recommend this little gem!”

This is a sweet cottage on a large lot with private access to the lake. It has kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and bikes. It was great to sit on the lake’s edge and just chill. Small but functional kitchen and great coffee! There is a pellet fireplace that we used one cool evening which is very nice. Bruno and Fabiola couldn’t be nicer. Bruno met us on arrival, introduced us to the place, and was always available for questions. Lago Orta is a beautiful lake and a great location that is off the usual tourist circuit. We enjoyed our time there very much.
