Very positive first experience of Airbnb in a convenient rural setting. Studio is homely spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed trying out all the swim spa settings as well as watching the goats.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage for four nights. Jane and Ian could not have been more helpful and welcoming. If you need to be in the centre of Essex with peaceful surroundings, this is the place to stay. Great local pubs with super food and beer too! We especially liked the garden seating area. the kitchen was well equipped and the welcome items for breakfast on your first morning a nice touch. Very happy to recommend.

What a great place, it has everything you need & more. Immaculately clean & feels like home from home. It’s one of the best place we have stayed & would highly recommend. The location is also amazing. Only a short walk and you can wander down the canal side to Maldon basin and enjoy the view, along with a number of pub’s & restaurants. 5/5

Lovely location, beautiful views, a lovely space perfect for a couples getaway. Host was responsive and helpful. Lodge was clean, and had plenty of ways to entertain yourself! Had a lovely time and will definitely be staying again!
