Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Lansing

Stayed here with a small group of friends over a three day weekend. Enjoyed the home and the atmosphere; beautiful shoreline and surrounds. Loved the fireplace in the screened porch. Rochelle was welcoming and friendly.

The is is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, my son says it’s a “tradition”. The space was great to hangout with older kids, everyone has space yet we’re all still together. A perfect home base for exploring as well.

Would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Clean and tidy and comfortable! there was information in local restaurants. a full sized fridge ready for action, and coffee readily available. note: the half bath is downstairs, which I think is important to note if people have to consider stairs. I was not expecting the king size bed to be as high up off the ground as it was. I am not a short person, and was able to get into the bed. someone who is more height challenged might need a stool. upon our arrival we did report smoke alarms that were beeping. It did take a little longer than expected for those to be corrected and we were promptly informed when it is (we were away at the time...which was fine).

This house was perfect for my friend group for our weekend stay. We had six in our group and no one had to share beds or rooms. The house is comfortable, well-appointed, charming, and just perfect. We all agreed we’d like to make this an annual thing.

Terrific stay at Simply Creekside. A friend and I fished area trout streams and the comfort, convenience and location was ideal at the cottage. Would happily book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Ardene's place! The house is very spacious with enough bedrooms and other areas that are a nice touch (deck, sun room). The house provided more than enough dishes and kitchen items to be used. It was also nice for the host to have games. FYI there are 2 steps to get into the main living area. We would recommend this place!

We loved our stay at Tusen Takk and we'd be excited to come back! This is our favorite home in Decorah because of the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable dining and living space, and the extras like puzzles and records.

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful house, and incredibly outfitted, especially for guests with kids. Alissa was very responsive and made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place!! This is the second time I've stayed here! Charming, comfortable, great location (right on the main street with all the shops/restaurants), and had a fun Norwegian theme. The host was great!!

Great stay. Location was quiet. I wish we would’ve gotten to stay in the warmer months. I’m sure the views would’ve been even better and the outside space would be great for that. The inside was clean, newly redone when I stayed (from my untrained eye). The welcome sweets were a nice touch! Paula’s instructions for access, parking and everything else were clear and concise. We were fishing and Paula accommodated our need to clean fish in a space that wouldn’t otherwise been available. She did not have to do that for us, but she did. She picked up when I called to inquire about it too. She’s a super-superhost! Don’t hesitate to book her listings. Highly recommended!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Mandi’s place was ideal for a peaceful, quiet get away. We loved sitting on their deck watching the eagles, pelicans and barges go by. There were various places to hike nearby as much or as little as we wanted. We chose Effigy Mound National Monument one day and Pikes Peak State Park the other and both were well worth the time spent. We went to the pub - restaurant literally across the street for a lunch and sat on their deck enjoying the river scenes. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed for meals at t home. The bed was comfy and we slept great! We reserved this gem again before leaving!

We love our annual trips to Decorah and especially love when Trisha's place is available for us to stay! Berryhill Flat is pristinely cleaned and equipped with anything needed for a great stay. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. My son and I especially loved star gazing each night because we could see the stars so clearly. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We look forward to our next stay!

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

Staying at Jessica's was such a pleasure - I was delighted to see how clean, cute and modern it was. Check in was easy and the communication was exceptional. This will be my first pick everytime I visit, absolutely loved it and slept like a baby as it was so quiet. My fav place I've stayed in the area and I visit twice a year.

Kaleen’s place is a perfect spot in Decorah. Short walk to downtown and a lovely home to return to. Bonus fire pit and back patio! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Sean was an amazing host to our group who came into town for a funeral. He was very easy to work with and made our stay pleasant and accommodating. The place is extremely well kept, is in a nice quiet area, and has a beautiful view. We greatly appreciated having a place to spend a restful evening after a long day of driving. The little coffee bar that was provided was a big hit!

We enjoyed our visit to Lansing. Nancy and Scott met us at check in to show us around and answer questions. The unique stone building has been transformed into a beautiful and comfortable apartment with plenty of space for 2-4 people. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We hiked on Mt Hosmer, explored the historic Main Street, shopped at the variety store, and had pizza at the Safe House. We hope to stay here again next time we travel on the Great River Road.

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

The condo was gorgeous! modern but historic, great reno! Bed was comfy. We were messaged that it was ready and we could check in early. Fab location. Will say again when in Viroqua
