My husband and I had an amazing experience. Donna and Roy are very friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home; even our pup, Apple, loved it, and the room to roam outside. The property was cozy, well-stocked, and had the perfect layout for our needs. It was tucked away for a peaceful, quiet trip with no road noise and other people around, making it very peaceful.

Absolutely fabulous. I’ve stayed on many Airbnb’s, but quite frankly this was the best experience ever. I’ve been very fortunate to not have any bad experiences over the years, but here it the those little touches that elevated the experience. Whether it was the bag of washing machine pods and the dryer sheets, the spare toothbrush ‘just in case’, or a bottle of water, everything was just so considerate. The location is absolutely stunning and you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods when out in the back yard. 6 stars if I could.

Beautiful place definitely will visit again ! Eco shower was my absolutely favorite hottest water I’ve ever had 🥹 Lori was very accommodating. Peaceful get away 10/10 definitely recommend! There was nothing I needed to bring besides my self and what I wanted to put on the grill 💛

We had another fantastic stay at Liberty Getaway—our third time visiting for family reunions! Titus, Andrea and Barry are awesome hosts who keep everything in mint condition. Our three little kids loved the swing set and making s’mores at the fireplace with the provided firewood. The new updates, like the comfy sofa and fresh paint, made the place even more inviting. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings and took day trips to the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer and the Dan Nicholas Park, both of which are perfect for kids. Its convenient location really helps us unite the family, and we can’t recommend Liberty Getaway enough. We look forward to coming back again!

This is an excellent place for a getaway vacation. It is very peaceful with an amazing view! We had a great time kayaking on the lake, going into the Uwharrie Forest, and visiting the zoo while we stayed in Asheboro. The neighborhood is a great place to walk. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. It was a memorable vacation.

This place looked like the photos, absolutely breathtaking. Our host Jim was very welcoming and kind! The house was clean and the place was extremely peaceful and quiet. The surrounding woods were perfect for hiking. I loved the pool table and hot tub most of all!

Perfect location for a visit to NC Zoo. Charming, classic country farmhouse. Comfortable and cute. Great outdoor area and a cool little trail through the woods out back. Very close to the zoo and convenient to restaurants and amenities. Asheboro has an amazing little antiques area downtown too!

Stayed while taking the little guy to Polar Express. Had a great long weekend and was an easy 25 min to the train. Coldest night of the year and loved it. Would recommend arriving during the day but we managed at night. Looking forward to visiting again in warmer months.

Nice little cottage that is very clean and well provisioned. Located close to resturants and shopping centers and the NC Zoo yet remote enough to afford a relaxing stay with a country aire. I would stay here again. I will mention there were some minor repairs being made which did not impact our stay.
