This home is The Main Cabin (owners residence) @ The Water and Rest.

The downstairs master is stream-side. It’s a space that is completely unoccupied whenever I am home.

I have some cabins next door and the 2nd bedroom on the main level is partially used for storage. (Behind curtain wall of BR #2) I’ll confirm that this is noticed prior to booking acceptance. Otherwise, everything is just as pictured.

When I am home, the calendar is blocked and even then, I don’t use your space. It’s just you and your guest only when booked.

Guest access
You’ll have a full setup of 2 BR with a queen bed in each, 2 bathrooms, and “living areas”, which are all on the main level. ALSO….. The upstairs loft has a twin bed for person #5, if needed. No basement here.

Private Stream-side decks, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, and hammock.

On the screened back porch: 2 place bistro set, and a napping bed for 2.

A massage chair is in “The Bunkshop”. You’re welcome to use it.

OFF LIMITS: locked off room upstairs, attached to the loft area.

Other things to note
Coffee pods provided. Please feel free to use spices, or any other food items that are present. This also goes for tiki fuel, or other items in included spaces, and porches.

While traveling: Kitty, my dog, always travels with me. She’s very well traveled, non-shedding, and has no anxiety issues or weird, messy habits. We look forward to visiting many more places. As A Host, to my guests: “The Water and Rest” back story: I purchased the property in 2018 because I fell in love with my vision of what I could turn it into while being close to my Dad; whom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s during the fall of 2017. So, I needed to leave Nashville (home) and chose this spot for my life reset in multiple ways. Something about this place helped me put uncontrollable worries aside. So, my vision of something different that could be a cool, private mini Smoky Mountain resort is coming to fruition. It has quite a bit more to go but I’m sharing what is available when family and friends aren’t in town with me. When complete, the “semi-pet friendly” property will consist of The Studio (1 bed), The Loft (2 beds), The Cabin (2 beds and a sleeper sofa) and eventually...... The Suite (2 beds, sleeper sofa with handicap access), all with kitchen and 1 bath. The Main (4 beds, 3 bath) which I currently live in, will also be available at some point. It will be a perfect retreat/ resort spot in the Great Smoky Mountains for groups or families/friends wanting to travel and stay together, maintaining their own privacy. I’m excited to share my property with amazing and extremely interesting, successful people from around the world; including friends. The majority of my guests seem to share the same appreciation for nature and simplicity without compromising quality and comfort. My places are semi- pet friendly to non-aggressive, non-shedding canines. Sweet doggies like to go on vacation too! I provide comfy spaces and you make the memories!
