Our chapel is located next to the Cherokee national forest and near Cosby campground.
“What a special place this couple has built. Private, remote, romantic. Nothing but beautiful trees and nature all around. We loved the trail path they created that leads eventually to a treehouse. Waking up to that view was breathtaking. We only left to go hiking to Hen Wallow Falls via nearby Cosby Campground (gorgeous hike and waterfall! 4.4 miles round trip) and to grab food to cook (there’s a Walmart in Newport) - they do provide a one burner so we made eggs in the morning and steak at night! Also loved sitting on the roof listening to frogs and watching fireflies provide the best music and firework show! Driveway is definitely a doozy but our two-wheel drive made it fine! Would definitely return! A lot of Airbnbs turn out to be not so remote and immersed in nature - some don’t show you the whole picture. Fear not because the Chapel at Loveland is all that and so much more - endless thoughtful details and constant signs of kindness on top of being remote and private and immersed in nature. Book this! Do it now!”
Camp Grits offers a camping experience not be found anywhere else in the Smokys. Come stay in our little black cabin in our woodsy yard, put some wood on the wood stove, climb up to the loft and open the hatch: catch the last wisps of camp fire smoke and the owl's calling. Wake up to the smell of your lover cooking eggs, and toasting homemade bread.
“The Little Black cabin is a dream for people looking for a beautiful place to relax in the woods. You can see and feel all the thoughtful touches Rosie and Jim put into the design/furnishing of their place. Even the outhouse is beautiful and charming! We loved having campfires with the company of their sweet pup who always joined us. And for breakfast we were joined by a flock of free range chickens and roosters! An unexpected touch was Rosie’s homemade bread and butter for breakfast. My partner highly recommends the fire bath after a long day of hiking. Truly a treat to get to stay here. Hope to be back!”
Shiners Shack is a rustic experience in a great location. Located in Cosby/Newport Tennessee approximately 35-40 minutes from Gatlinburg. This type of “Tiny Cabin” of less than 200 sq. ft. is debuting across the United States providing a primitive, cozy and rustic experience with comfort at an affordable rental rate. "Shiners Shack" is setting in the forest among the trees overlooking the Smoky Mountain range The cabin will accommodate 2-3 guests comfortably and has a fire pit, charcoal grill
“This was my second time staying at the Shiners Shack. Just as the first time the home was immaculately clean. The hosts responded almost immediately to any request through air bnb. Property was kept clean and nice. Everything you could expect from a host that cares about their guests you will find here. Now for the above and beyond.... In the middle of our trip we were going to a local rafting place located about 15 minutes from the cabin. My engine spun a rod berring. We were stranded. Not a single car rental place was open as this took place on a Sunday. We messaged the host and they were there to pick us up within 20 minutes. The next day the local dealership offered a loaner car while they took care of mine, however i had to get to them, they didnt have the manpower to send someone 45 minutes to get us. Our hosts once again went out of their way to get us there to pick up the car and finish our vacation. I have never before experienced hosts like this one! Plus side is they have more things located right there on the property then we had any idea! Sheep, goats, kayaks, an almost 2 mile endurance testing hiking trail, and a family of bears we attempted and failed to catch a glimpse of but will have another shot in July when we come back.”
