The space
Perched on a scenic ridge overlooking Sky Valley, Georgia, our fully renovated cabin is the perfect blend of cozy charm and modern comfort. Nestled on a third of an acre, it offers a forest surrounding, stunning seasonal mountain views and a peaceful retreat from the everyday. A short walk up the road opens up to a wide view of the sunset, GSMNP, and the golf course in Sky Valley.

Inside, you’ll find plenty of space to unwind:
• The main level is designed for easy, single-level living, featuring a full-size kitchen, dining area, cozy sitting room with a TV, a queen bedroom, and a full bath with a relaxing soaking tub—perfect after a day of adventure.
• Head up to the third-floor loft, where a spacious second living area invites you to kick back and enjoy the views.
• The basement level is all about comfort and convenience, with two more bedrooms (one queen, one king), built-in bunkbeds tucked behind curtains in the hallway, a full bathroom, and a full-size washer and dryer for those longer stays.

Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a longer escape, our mountain cabin is designed to feel like home!

Welcome to The Haven! We love our little A-frame getaway, and we hope you do too. Please treat it with the same care you would your own home!

✨ A few things to know before you settle in:
• We’re in the mountains, which means no trash pick-up or storage—please check the house rules for details on disposal.
*Our neighbors are great! Let’s keep it that way by being kind and respectful.
(This is an HOA, so no smoking inside, NO CANNABIS— inside or outside), parties, or commercial rentals.)*
• Our property is marked on two sides by friendly evergreen Yew bushes—nature’s little boundary markers of our 1/3 acre.
• Kids & The Haven: While we love little adventurers, our A-frame has some hazards (loft heights, a rock wall, wildlife, vehicles, and a steep forested landscape). Please keep a close eye on them!
• Wildlife guests: Black bears sometimes make an appearance, mostly in summer and fall—so keep food secured and admire from a distance!
• Winter fun! Snow in January and February is magical, but ice… not so much. We’ll be in touch about road conditions, but please be prepared for mountain travel. Travel insurance is highly recommended, especially in winter.
• We call it: a temperature for every person — Winter heat is managed by mini-splits and a gas fireplace. No central heat and air at the Haven. If you like the cold then we are a great winter hideaway! In general plan to wear warm socks and sweaters when you aren’t by the fire, in the loft (where heat rises), or in a bedroom with a heater. It’s all part of the “cabin in the woods charm” November — March!
• We do not have a generator at this time and are not responsible for power outages.

Perched at an elevation of 3,800 feet, this charming A-frame offers breathtaking views above the picturesque Sky Valley Country Club from a little walk up the street. Seasonal mountain and sunset views are visible from the deck November through April.

The Haven Aframe was a daring risk. We bought a dilapidated and abandoned shell of a house and rebuilt all but 3 things: the concrete basement walls, the beams and ceiling, and the flagstone floors! She is a rags to riches Cinderella story for sure! We truly hope she becomes your second home, too!
