What awaits you in Vrboska on the beautiful island of Hvar?
Vrboska as the idyllic place is often affectionately referred to as "Mala Venecija" or "little Venice". Vrboska owes this name to its numerous small bridges that lead over the fjord-like estuary and connect the districts of Pjaca and Podva. Along the waterfront promenade are houses in typical Dalmatian architecture, while a small palm island in the bay offers a popular photo motif.

What is there to see in Vrboska?
An important landmark of Vrboska is the fortress church of St. Mary of Mercy (Sv. Marije od Milosrda). This impressive church was built in the 16th century after an attack by the Turks and is considered unique in the entire Adriatic region. From its tower there is a magnificent view over the place. Not far away is the parish church of Sv. Lovre, which boasts one of the richest art collections in Dalmatia. Works by Renaissance and Baroque painters such as Jacopo de Ponte Bassano and Giuseppe Alabardia can be admired here.

How to spend your time at Vrboska:
Vrboska offers numerous leisure activities, especially for beach lovers. The Soline coastline is ideal for families and offers not only an aqua park but also opportunities for water sports such as kayaking and windsurfing. Maslinica beach, surrounded by pine trees, offers crystal clear water and idyllic corners to relax. But there is also something for outdoor fans: cyclists have the choice between different routes where you can explore the beauty of the island of Hvar. From Vrboska there is also a nice walk to the tranquil port city of Jelsa, which passes by some bays.

In the evening, visitors have the opportunity to try one of the restaurants or konobas of Vrboska. Local specialties, especially fish dishes and island wines such as Plavac and Bogdanusa, are offered.

Guest access
The entire house with garden is at our guests' disposal. The garden is demarcated so that children or pets are safe.
We have a shaded lounge with furniture for 8 people and several sun loungers as well as a large table for dining outdoors. A large barbecue grill is also available. Two large white parasols keep the garden nicely shady. We have many Mediterranean plants in the garden to make your stay as beautiful as possible.
