Vacation rentals in Kaskaskia

I was so impressed with this house and our host and this might be our favorite Airbnb stay yet. We wanted an off-the-beaten-path overnight for our anniversary which was exactly what we got. The neighborhood was nice and quite (except for the dogs parking out back but to be honest, we loved that part and we spent a while watching them). We were able to walk to the shops and restaurants in town which is always something we want when we vacation. There was a hand-written card for us which was such a sweet touch. Everything we could have needed was provided and we felt so comfortable.

This was a perfect location for a great weekend trip to Ste. Geneviève, the house was exceptionally clean and comfortable, we were able to walk 3 minutes to everything in the beautiful downtown and only an hour drive to Taum Sauk, Elephant Rocks and so many others. I had to reach out once with a question and Zachary responded quickly and went above and beyond. We are looking forward to a future stay, truly glad we chose this home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely spot. The cabin is cozy and well equipped, and the view from the hill where it's situated is just outstanding. Most of all, the cabin and its setting are peaceful and serene, offering an ideal getaway from the big city.

I can’t put into words well enough, how amazing this place was. We are from the area but now live in FL, and were struggling to find a place to come back home to visit/stay at with our 3 boys & Sharon/Bills place at Stonehaven was absolutely perfect. Absolutely beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. Even a high chair and pack n play bed for our baby. Sharon was so sweet and let us check in early in the middle of the night and was so welcoming for if we needed ANYTHING! We already cannot wait to go visit home again and stay at our new “home at home” in Stonehaven. ♥️

This was my second time staying in Christine’s charming place. It is beyond lovely, accessible, easy. She’s an awesome hostess - cheery, informative, and her art gallery/shop is a hub of artsy joy in Ste. Genevieve. For sure I’ll be back again soon.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I rented this cabin for my husband and a few friends that went to Illinois for a hunting trip. I literally cannot say enough great things about this place and about Wally & Vickie. To say that they went above and beyond would be an understatement. Wally seriously went out of his way to accommodate my husband and his friends. His kindess and generosity did not go unnoticed. In addition to the gracious host, the cabin itself was beautiful, clean, and well stocked to meet all of our groups' needs. My husband is already looking forward to renting this space again next year!

We had a great time at the cabin. The fall colors were wonderful to experience. We all had a great time.

Hummingbird Haven was amazing!! This is my favorite air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. Earl and Brenda were so sweet and caring. The guest house is private and very spacious! The property is beautiful and private. You will see a lot of wildlife there! Earl and Brenda made sure I was taken care of and did everything to make this stay comfortable. They even stopped by and introduced themselves as I was leaving. I will definitely be staying there again!
