We kept postponing posting a review for Krista’s place because it was SO AMAZING that we did not want to rush and leave a review that does not reflect enough of how happy we are with this stay. Krista was very sweet and nice, offering us a tour of her farm and also checking in on us. The stay was so memorable and unique — the yurt of course is incredibly unique with such a comfortable bed, very well-equipped kitchen, lounge room attached, with an amazing view of tropical leaves and ahhh the (THE) bathroom. Bathroom has both standing shower and a beautiful bathtub overlooking their farm. We are SO GLAD we chose this place for our Big Island trip. If you are on the fence of whether to stay here or not, trust this review and all the other good reviews and book this place. You won’t regret it.

We loved it. You are in a little piece of country next to a quiet neighborhood. Great location if you don't want the crowds of Kona. Black Rock pizza and The Theatry were great places to eat. Corrine has a guide book to the island that was indispensable. Loved the lanai and the view of the ocean. Would definitely recommend! Loved the coffee and fruits, although I had no idea what some of them were :).

We stayed a couple of nights at this beautiful place. Meg and Bred are great hosts. We loved the view from the Porch, all the small details in the apartment. We took private surf lessons with Brad and he is a very great teacher, he is super passionate about surfer. He also offers coffee tours. Definitely check with them what to do as we got a lot of recommendations and they help in case something is needed. The environment is peaceful, non touristic and gives you an impression how it is to be a local. Enjoy the jungle sounds at night and the stunning sunsets from the Porch. Thanks for hosting us. Mahalo.
