Johns Island vacation rentals

We had a great stay at Daniel place. Everything was in order and it allowed to have an awesome weekend for the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Great location in the historic district just around the corner from King Street! We felt like we borrowed someone's charming southern home. Shopping was a 5 minute walk and the fountain at the waterfront with great restaurants was a 15 minute walk. The private courtyard was perfect for a family reunion gathering as the patio furniture sat at least 7. With 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, my granddaughter loved the bathtub on the third floor, we would stay here again.

The house is in a very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. It’s very well maintained and squeaky clean. The location is very good because you’re not far away from anything. We stayed at the house on a work trip so I didn’t cook much however I did fix my breakfast & the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. Our host was very responsive and we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

This place was just perfect for a weekend mom’s getaway. Christopher was very responsive and provided directions on getting inside and how to get our parking passes. His place was immaculate and cozy. The beds were comfy, the sheets soft, and the towels were top of the line too. I will def stay here again!

This beautiful home was 10 minutes from the memorial site on Morrison Dr where my daughter was killed by drunk drivers on 4/28/24. We were so grateful to find this place so close to where we needed to be on the 1 yr anniversary. It was quiet and peaceful and a perfect home base. It was also a short distance from downtown Charleston, Folly beach and anywhere else we wanted to go. Grant was very accommodating when we asked for a later checkout time and quickly responded to any question we had. We have many more trips to Charleston ahead and we will definitely look to stay here again.

Our family of 8, 3 couples + children, thought the view from the back of the house was breathtaking. House was clean, site gave us many suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The location was so easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, and a small grocery store. Any small questions we had or request we made was taken care of promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in or company to work with.

Our stay at Beach Bums on Edisto Island was absolutely wonderful! The house was incredibly comfortable and welcoming, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Heather communicated exceptionally well, ensuring we knew we could reach out for assistance at any time. She also provided excellent recommendations for exploring the local area. It was the perfect getaway! Without a doubt, this is a five-star home, managed by a remarkably kind and engaged host. This place is a hidden gem that we are so happy we found!

This house is super cute! We absolutely LOVED all the outdoor entertaining spaces, porches, decks and garage area. Walking distance from the beach and in a perfect location. This house was perfect for riding out tropical storm Debby. The house was one of the only houses on the island whose yard was not completely flooded. At one point during the storm we looked outside to see a ton of deer riding out the storm with us in the yard. We will definitely rent again.

Great location with the pier, beach, access, and restaurants all within walking distance. The place was clean, cutely decorated, cozy, and the perfect place for the two of us to spend a few days. Elizabeth was responsive and friendly.

If you don’t want to fall into a deep sleep to the sound of ocean waves and a cool breeze, then waking to have coffee on the porch overlooking the beach, then I don’t recommend staying at Crissy’s cottage. Her cottage is perfection. The screened porch is comfy, the living room pretty and esthetic, and the bedrooms cozy and so comfortable. She is a very receptive hostess, she makes you feel right at home. If you can, pack fishing gear/tackle. Several of the locals loved sharing their tips and tricks with us.

Adam space was amazing. I didn’t mind the steps at all. We stayed on the third floor. The view is worth walking up the stairs. The place is very cute and cozy and clean Adam‘s great with communication responded always right away and it was awesome because he was able to give me a late check out, which I know is not always possible. Can’t wait to say again.

Such a great spot, perfect for our babymoon getaway! Absolutely beautiful location, the beach is quite literally right in your backyard. Extremely quiet, private, and peaceful area. Very easy walk (0.3 ish miles) to coffee/breakfast in the morning at The Nest. We enjoyed the Ocean Room and Hege’s both for fantastic dinners. Freshfields shopping is also an easy drive for shops, groceries, and lunch spots. Ron was a wonderful host - we’d love to return!

Quiet area, private beach, house with all necessities The wrap around porch and big glass doors made for a very open and spacious feel. Sunrises from deck, bed or great room were beautiful,and listening to the waves very relaxing.

We enjoyed the house and it was larger than the pictures capture. we liked the openness of the kitchen, dining and living space. Great outdoor spaces as well. Quick walk to the beach and to a back dock overlooking the marsh. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. All was as advertised. Everything was clean and worked well. Definitely a great option!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hampton House! The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Location on the water can not be beat. All the beach toys and kayaks were a bonus. Derrick was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beachfront Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The house was exactly what we were looking for – a relaxing, lowkey getaway for our family by the beach. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the sand, and the home itself was well-equipped for a peaceful weekend. It had everything we needed to unwind, from the cozy couch to the backyard for evening hangouts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet beach retreat!

Excellent location — house is a block away from the Market and restaurants, but on a quiet street. Less used beach access trail is adjacent to the house which was very convenient

Calvin's place was perfect for our needs! Not only was the house and surrounding area beautiful, Calvin was kind enough to fulfill our early check-in and late check-out requests. I would highly recommend booking this Airbnb if you're traveling to the Charleston area. You can even see a slice of the ocean between the ocean-front houses from his place!

This home is located amongst the most beautiful homes and trees. The location is beautiful. The home was great. It definitely fit our needs. Highly recommend this home and Seabrook Island.

This place is absolutely charming—beautifully decorated, cozy, and well-equipped. The mattress and linens are incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect—just a short walk to a great beach and downtown, making it super convenient. The large backyard and inviting front porch sitting area add to the relaxing atmosphere. Kristen was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a fantastic Folly Beach getaway!

My husband, toddler, and I really enjoyed our short stay here! It was walkable to the beach which was nice for our 2 year old. We loved the space and enjoyed the back yard for an Easter egg hunt. Seth was very responsive and coordinated with our rental company for early drop off of items for our son including a high chair and toddler bed. He was very accommodating! One thing to note, if renting with a young child, is although the home was very close to Main Street, it was still harder for us to walk it with our toddler due to traffic and fast drivers. You can rent golf carts but based on our toddler’s behavior we didn’t think was a safe choice so driving still may be best option during peak times.
