Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Isle of Wight

Jo was an excellent host, provided plenty of information and clear instructions. Very quick to respond to a question I had. The accommodation is exactly as described, kept in pristine condition and very welcoming. Nothing can beat sitting at the dining table with the wonderful view across the Solent. Thank you Jo, we will be back!

Sea View was an amazing place to stay, right next to a lovely sandy beach, which we walked along every day of our visit. The house was clean and furnished to a really high standard. would absolutely stay again if the opportunity arises. thank you.

Travelled to Island for my wife’s aunts 80th birthday and 60th wedding anniversary celebrations. House was just as described, clean, spacious, comfortable and ideally located for seafront and high street. Extremely well equipped kitchen plus welcoming items including sourdough , butter, preservatives , milk, orange juice and shortbread. Spacious lounge with planting of seating. My wife and daughter loved the soaps, shower gels and fresh smells in the bathrooms. I thoroughly recommend this property and would re book if returning to the Island Tips: Grab the double room on 3rd floor if you prefer medium to soft mattress and watching tv in bed! We felt the middle bedroom mattresses were a bit on the hard side for us personally but this would not stop me from rating this property 10/10.

We had a fantastic 10 day stay with our 1 year old and 3 year old. The house was a perfect location for exploring Bembridge and the walk to the beach each morning was glorious! The house has everything you could ever need and the garden and TV outbuilding were wonderful to relax in and enjoy the sunshine. The hosts were really helpful and proactive with support for all of us. Thanks so much - we would love to return!

We spent 3 days at this lovely home and will certainly be going back. The house is lovely, especially the kitchen area which looks out into the garden. The kids played in the garden for hours on the climbing frame, tyres and swings and then moved on to the toy room, which they loved! The garden was a huge hit with them! The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean and the beds are really comfortable! The house is spacious and it was nice to have some space when travelling with a large party. Lee and Stu provided loads of information about the areas and of the various activities to do. We chose to visit Wildheart Animal Sanctuary and the Robin Hill country park - both of these are great if you are travelling with kids. Be prepared to spend an entire day at Robin Hill - it is huge with loads to do! We visited the beach each day and it was perfect when the tide was out for the kids to splash in. Perfect for those with dogs too. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyed a very pleasant weekend in Cowes near to where our son lives, so perfect location for us, and anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the sea, town and Northwood House where there are many activities on during the year. There is also a bowling green and tennis courts. The cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean and nicely fitted out. Good instruction manual for the cottage and local info. The only slight negative would be the staircase, which is steep with only one usable handrail, but we were fine with this as we're mobile, but could be a problem for the less able bodied. Overall we would recommend this cottage to anyone and would definitely stay again, so thank you Patrick and Carrie.

Booked this house for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights whilst getting my brother settled into his new house a few streets away. It was bliss to come back to somewhere clean and comfortable and away from the mountains of boxes to sort through and unpack! Had everything we needed and location was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by our lovely hosts.. The location is fantastic with good restaurants, an incredible harbour and miles of white sandy beach within walking distance. The novelty of staying on Sandbanks added a unique interest .. we loved it 😊.. Thank you Madeleine, Michelle and Nick for your warm hospitality 😊 x

I stayed here with my two young children and we had such a great time! The place is amazing and is bigger than it looks on the photos. They have everything you need in there, so we felt right at home very quickly. Fee was very welcoming and check in and out was super easy. There was also a lovely friendly cat downstairs called Nelson who was gorgeous! We loved him. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you!

i stayed here with some friends for a night, the house was beautiful, very clean and in a perfect location for us. our host Vera was very friendly and her communication was brilliant, very helpful and quick responses! i would definitely stay here again when visiting bournemouth:) thanks for making our stay pleasant!!

Great stay in a cute studio with garden close to the sea. We were unable to park on the road so had to pay for parking. One of the kitchen cupboards stunk of cigarette smoke, we cleaned everything before use to prevent the items tasting of cigarettes. Also only had two forks.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub was fantastic. The beds were so comfy (and I am super picky about this). The location was great, we had such a great stay, my daughter did not want to leave.

Becci's flat is very special as the whole place has been lovingly created to be unique. We felt that specialness straight away. The living area is lovely and sunny, with a view across to the pub car park and beyond, with visible trees. When we got there we found everything we'd need for the first 24hours self-catering, and more! It's really close to the sort of local little shop which stocks almost anything you'd want, and a supermarket. Just round the corner is the village green with picnic tables etc. If you, like us, like art ... there is a gallery under the the flat, and at the St Barbe museum in Lymington. If you really love art, then go to the fabulous (free) galleries at the Palais des Vaches. It's only open at weekends. It has grassy walks down to the river with views towards Buckler's Hard. On Sundays you can buy food. For bird lovers there is a hide at Sturt Pond nearly the lighthouse restaurant on the beach, or go to Keyhaven and follow the coastal road.

Just home for a wonderful few days away at this superb apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern and very well equipped. Perfect outside area with wrap around balcony. We spent a good amount of time really using the apartment to its full potential. Good location with parking and easy access. All in all a great place and I would definitely return.

Had a really great stay! The cabin was even better than expected. Really great location, immaculate condition. If you’re looking for a staycation by the sea I would highly recommend. Perfect for dogs with lots of places to walk. A comfortable and homely cabin to come back to.

Don’t wish for this to sound negative at all but just wanted others to know that whilst it’s clear there’s no wifi (lovely!) there was also no data at all for EE or O2 phones. I absolutely get that we aren’t there to look at our phones and nor did we want to, but sometimes wanted to Google things in the area etc so best do ur research before u go and make sure friends & family know ur going totally off grid! Heavenly to be off grid but scary how reliant we have become on our phones! Lovely location, lovely place, thanks Sara x

We really enjoyed our stay, was a last min surprise for my partner's birthday - and Sarah was a great host - very responsive, and had thought of all the little details. The bed was super comfy, the heater and the electric blanket made it a lovely, cosy space. We ordered breakfast as well which was delicious and really good value. It felt slightly on the pricey side for what it was but appreciate it is quite a unique offering in the area and we booked quite last minute. Sarah helped with recommendations for where to eat out and nothing was too much trouble for her. We drove into Swanage / the beachfront as I was heavily pregnant but the distance was walkable. There were lots of fun things to do in town, even off season. The guest book was testament to how many other people had stayed and loved it as well - thank you so much!

It was our first time staying in an air bnb so was not sure what to expect but this place exceeded all expectations. Such a lovely little cabin and well kept. Extra touches like a fire pit on the decking were lovely. Thank you for such a lovely stay

Jo was very responsive and welcoming. The property and surrounding areas were spotless, felt very home and such a peaceful retreat, lovely extra touches supplied and the pool was clean and very warm as promised. We will definitely be coming back, highly recommended.

The property, location and host exceeded expectations. There were 5 of us in the New Forest for a biking holiday with 4 dogs and it was the perfect base. All of the amenities were top class, it was extremely clean and we didn't want for anything. Michael was so nice to deal with and very responsive on any ask (we used all the fire pit wood as it was so nice out) and this was replenished immediately. The dogs had an incredible free range of the extensive grounds and literally lived their best life, as indeed we humans did too. Very private and secure with great wifi and TV too. We will definitely be re-booking this for next year. Couldn't ask for more and the location to the forest and Highcliff beach is perfect for all days out. Thanks Michael for a beautiful place to stay.

This is a fantastic little find for the New Forest. The studio itself has character, charm, and everything you could need for a short or longer term stay. Easy to find everything, and most of all, a lovely cosy comfy bed. Alison was a warm and welcoming host, who provided a list of recommended restaurants in the area. Responsive to messages, couldn't have asked for better. If I'm ever heading back to the New Forest area, I'll definitely be looking up this property first!
