This was our first time renting an AirBNB and Karyn & Russ set the bar HIGH! The place was ADORABLE and VERY spacious. Everything was clean and tidy and we immediately felt at home. Anything that we could have possibly needed was there for our use. Karyn obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure her guests feel welcome and comfortable. It was unusually cold during our stay and she even went and purchased new comforters in case we got cold...which we didn't but that sure says a lot about her thoughtfulness. We had a wedding in Middleton Place and it was very convenient yet it was quiet and private and we had our own little getaway place away from the wedding festivities. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Hopefully, we can come back to explore Charleston. Thank you Karen & Russ. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

The house was perfect for me and it was so nice inside. I was renting the house in the hottest part of July and inside I felt cool and comfortable. The hosts were amazing and couldn't have been more nice with my needs. I had a couple issues and they went above and beyond for me - well beyond what a host would need to do. I would recommend this home to single travelers or couples looking for a cute place to relax. 10/10 experience!

We were on our 39th anniversary and had not had a vacation for some time because of illness. This was just what we needed. The place is amazing! The beach, restaurants, and beautiful surroundings were gorgeous! Also, the people in IOP are very friendly and welcoming. We met lots of new friends and will be back. Kathy's home was an absolute gem for our family! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-equipped the house was. Everything we needed for our family of four was thoughtfully provided, making our stay comfortable and convenient. One of the highlights was the screened-in porch, which became our favorite spot to relax. Mornings were particularly special - sipping coffee and watching our favorite show while enjoying the cool breeze was a perfect start to the day. The kids were absolutely delighted by the chickens roaming around the yard, which added a charming, rustic touch to our stay. Kathy was an exceptional host - her communication was prompt, clear, and helpful from our initial booking through check-out. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, making us feel welcome and well-supported throughout our entire stay. We would happily recommend this home to others and would love to return in the future.

I will return to this property as much as I can when this jewel is available! It makes total sense that this Airbnb is usually fully booked! I saw this as a REAL blessing! I WILL recommend Matthew's Boathouse to anyone who asks for recommendations. And I hope to have travel plans that line up with this property's scarce availability! :)

We loved our stay at this chic little get-away!! 5 star everything from the decorations to comfort, design and cleanliness. Very well equipped kitchen, large screen TV, spacious couch, comfortable bed and quality furnishings. The parking was perfect and the neighborhood quaint and very safe. Capri was a top-notch host. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing experience!
