We had the best time! Spacious, entertaining, clean and had absolutely everything you would need. Perfect for families and friends to get together and enjoy all this house has to offer. We lived in the pool and games room, which was great as it is away from the bedrooms, so when the littlest people in the house needed the quiet for day sleeps, it worked perfectly. The hamper on arrival was also a kind gesture, and greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Vicki’s place! The property is thoughtfully equipped with everything a family could need, making it incredibly child and baby friendly. From baby gates and toys to outdoor play equipment, they’ve truly gone above and beyond to create a space where kids can be entertained and happy. The rural setting added to the charm, though light sleepers should note the presence of roosters near the chook pen - something we didn’t anticipate but is typical for the countryside. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially the amazing spa pool, which was a highlight of our trip. Thank you for hosting us and providing such a lovely space for families! 🌊🌿

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

WOW, just absolutely WOW! What a breathtaking and spectacular property this was and made our visit to Hobart that extra bit comfortable and special! Excellent location in Taroona, 15min drive or bus ride into downtown Hobart, spectacular view of the Derwent river, which you can enjoy from the spa and pool! Inside, bedrooms are located well apart from each other for groups travelling together, bathrooms are great, and everything was just on point! Definitely highly recommended to stay here if you want a premium and spectacular experience to your visit to Hobart/Tasmania!

Staying here was an absolute delight. We happened to be there when the sheep were being sheared and Julie informed us so the children could watch. They loved it. For me, the highlight was hearing the waves crashing on the shore. What a relaxing sound! For my children, the highlight was the entertainment available. The trampoline, pool, pool table, basketball hoop, and animals were all enjoyed. For my parents, the whole thing! Dad even walked across the beach to go to the shops. Would highly recommend for any families travelling about or anyone wanting a country feel while still being near the city.

the host was great but unfortunately I didn't get to stay as we had a passing of a close family member and didn't get to stay sadly so was a waist of money unfortunately and a trip my 8year old was looking forward to.

The place is really great, near to the beach, good kitchen, laundry, clean bathroom and enough room for a big family. We also enjoyed late night movie on large TV. Leo is a great host and very proactive. Would strongly recommend it.

This was a lovely place to stay if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hobart and be immersed in nature and scenery. The hosts were responsive with any questions we had during our stay.

The property was very well presented and clean. The location was excellent, easy to access and the communication from Chris was responsive and helpful. Kalinda and Chris were very helpful and flexible with the arrangements. They allowed early checkin and checkout which was really helpful! Would definitely recommend for a chilled and enjoyable stay in Hobart!

Wow! Christiane, Walter and Otto were the most amazing hosts. Their beautiful property is so well equipped with everything you may need from a well stocked pantry to a salad spinner! Our 6 week stay was the best welcome to making Tasmania our home. The property itself is spacious, beautiful, clean and in reasonable distance to anything you may need. Christiane’s welcome pack took our breath away and the baked cakes we often found on the outdoor table were such a treat. Christiane and Walter were always helpful to our million questions about the area, hence we now live about 10 minutes away! Please.. when staying in Tasmania, hire a car and stay at Snug Falls. You will not be disappointed! We described Snug Falls BnB to our friends and family as ‘Heaven on Earth.’ Lifelong memories were made there, as were new found friends in Christiane and Walter.

We arrived on a cold ,wet day but the woodheater quickly warmed us. In a peaceful setting with a lovely outlook over water to Tinderbox . The beautifully selected and repurposed furnishings and artwork made the house a destination in itself. All the interesting books and quirky details felt more personal than the average Airbnb.

This terrace house is extremely comfortable and easy to stay in. We felt right at home straight away and would hope that it is still available on any future visits to Hobart.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tom and Amanda's house. It is a beautifully restored old house, exactly as described. It had everything we needed. We missed a dishwasher, but it wasn't promised. The bed is comfortable. The road noise right behind the house is practically inaudible, not at all disturbing. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the sunshine and the magnificent view. The honey that Amenda and Tom produce is very delicious, I would recommend it to future guests.

We came for a very special family celebration. The cottage is nearby and allowed us to come and go and be part of the happy weekend events. Eddie's style is warm and welcoming, and the clever space, filled with everything one could need, made us feel very at home.. Of course it is near all that matters in Hobart. North Hobart, Salamanca and plenty of good coffee dotted throughout the CBD. We would recommend Eddie's Place for a central but secretly quiet and private stay

Beautiful house with amazing views. Lisa and Andrew explained clearly re the steepness of the driveway so we were not surprised at all! They were easy to communicate with and we would definitely be back!
