Vacation rentals in Sandy Bay

Our stay at Weene Cottage was absolutely perfect! Helen was an amazing host and made us feel welcome from her first communication. The cottage was pristine and perfectly presented. The location was superb as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Will hope to visit again!

Loved our stay at Million Dollar Views, which indeed it had plenty of amazing views. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to meet and introduce themselves. We appreciated all of the small touches, like snacks and breakfast provided.

What a lovely abode! Excellently organised and clean. Homey with beautiful artwork worth reading about in the binder provided. Also check out the epic library room with a focus on Antartica. Warm floors in the bathroom are a nice touch. Walking distance to the city and harbour area. Absolutely stunning view of the mountains, with alfresco dining. We were lucky enough to witness the spectacular Aurora Australis. Margie kindly allowed us a late check out so we could enjoy more of Hobart on our last day. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great 1 night stay at the property. It has great ocean views, on a quiet street and very tidy place with a comfy bed. The addition of the jacuzzi was amazing 👏 would love to come back and stay longer on our next visit.

I have enjoyed my stay at Jill's Mod Pod immensely. If you want something a little different from the faceless hotels, this is the it. The place is set upon a steep driveway, but don't let that put you off because the views are spectacular. There are several lovely walks surrounding the property. It's peaceful and gorgeous! With a shopping village just at the end of the road plus a bus stop right at the end of the drive, you have all you need here. Hobart is a short drive across the Tasman Bridge - takes about 10 minutes to get to the city centre. The Mod Pod itself is brilliantly decorated and really well equipped with access to Netflix, Amazon and SBS. I literally couldn't fault a thing. As for Jill herself, she is on hand to help without being intrusive. That said, I'd encourage you to share a drink with her as her knowledge of Tasmania and her stories are incredibly interesting. I came away feeling like we were old friends! Rest assured when I return to Tassie, Mod Pod it is!

Booked this for some of my colleagues working nearby. Great location, wonderful facilities, clean and tidy, great host. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

It was a truly a splendid place to have a relaxing staycation - the apartment itself is stunning, just as in the photos - with a beautiful fireplace and view of the beach. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and wanted - from hot chocolate packets to coffee and bread and spreads. The icing on the cake was some Croatian cookies Julie left for us at our doorstep at the end of our stay. We slept so well and comfortably - if we come back to Hobart, this will be the place for us 💯! Thank you Julie and family
