The cabin was exactly how it’s shown in photos, and fully equipped with everyday necessities . It was very clean and comfortable . The Hermann’s was very proactive and made sure that we were good also left some suggestions with places to eat and things to do near by. Definitely will be coming back just to chill with family when we need a break.

This was a great find! I needed something affordable, peaceful, and private within a reasonable distance of hiking trails and outdoors activities for my solo vacation. It’s an easy 1-hour drive to Bryson City where there are great train tours as well as easy access to Nantahala, Cherokee, and the Hiwassee tributaries. Sabine, the host, is also very responsive and unobtrusive. The room was so clean and warm, with a handy kitchenette and sparkling bathroom. Wifi connectivity was simple and reliable—I was able to stream movies in the evening with no problems. The area is so quiet and there is a view of the woods from all the windows. I felt secluded, but with the security of knowing the hosts were right there if I needed anything. If you need a cozy, comfortable private space for one or two adults and love the outdoors, this is a lovely and budget-friendly choice! I look forward to staying again next time I’m in the area.

Nice quiet place for a couple to stay and close to very interesting places to visit

This cabin was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! I surprised my wife for her birthday and we had a wonderful time! The cabin itself is perfect , very peaceful and relaxing. We had a blast in the hot tub and eating by the fire-pit. Nathan was very responsive and friendly, he gave us clear instructions for everything, which made the stay so much easier. I would like to thank Nathan so much for their hospitality! We were worried about going to the cabin with a sedan but it all worked out smoothly! I believe any car can make it. And finally, there are so many trails and things to do around, everything about around 20min drive from the cabin. Driving around didn’t feel exhausting as you keep running into so many pretty views. 100% recommend this cabin! If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend :)
