Our trip had to move only days before check-in because weather cancelled the other portion of our trip, but Marcela was helpful and accommodating. The check-in was above and beyond with the building's doorman showing us in and around the apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. But the best of all is that Marcela made it an experience beyond just a place to sleep, with chocolates, fresh fruit, fresh flowers and an incredibly well organized and detailed guide to experiencing the neighborhood!

This place is beautiful! I was very pleased with the peace and tranquility! Everything was clean and the hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect spot to recuperate after an emergency surgery. Back garden is lovely. Kitchen is fully equipped with every gadget you can imagine. Nice open shelving design makes everything easy to find. Great separate spaces & big rain shower head in downstairs bathroom. Garage is a tight squeeze but, feels very secure. On street parking is available. Bar/street traffic can be a loud but, doesn’t last past 10 or 11 pm. Didn’t bother us. Hosts are wonderful and responsive. When the electric range stopped working, they delivered a stovetop burner! When we locked ourselves out, they had a spare key delivered. Amazingly fast responses in our times of need. Comfy beds, great smart tv & full sized laundry. HOT water. Lovely decor. Would highly recommend to everybody! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice and clean apartment! Windows are just very thin and next to the building is a busy street so bring earplugs. We enjoyed our layover stay and can recommend this place!

Nela’s place was excellent. Super clean, great location and very comfortable beds. The laundry is also an excellent addition, especially as we stayed after a week at the beach and had many clothes to clean! The area is very cool with lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. There is a lovely little back garden too. Nela is a great communicator and everything was easy. There is also a car spot that fit our car with ease. Overall a truly wonderful stay.

We really liked this apartment. We stayed on the 6th floor, and it had a beautiful view of San José, especially at night with all the lights. Avenida Escazú was only a 15-minute walk via Calle 136 toward the 510 Avenida Escazú condominium, and Multiplaza Mall was about a 20-minute walk. All other places were about a 10-minute Uber drive. The staff at Cortijo were very nice and friendly. We brought our dog with us and were able to walk him in the neighborhood toward Torre Laureles, where we found a dog park not far from there. Cortijo also has a dog area behind the pool, which was handy for potty breaks at night. The apartment was very nice, though I wished it had a dishwasher. I like to cook but don’t necessarily want to do the dishes. The master bed was very comfortable, but the guest bed could use a topper as it was a little too firm for my 89-year-old mother-in-law. The pool was very well-maintained, and it seemed to be heated, as I swam comfortably during colder temperatures.

Great place, nice weather. Very good furniture too, some of these places feel cheap but this definitely doesn’t!

We stayed 2 nights to rest and wash before departure from SJO. We wanted a quiet and secure location to rest. The apartment block is good although the gym and swimming pool are underwhelming. Lots of nearby shops (especially Automercado next door for groceries) and eateries within walking distance. Apartment is as described. Lovely art on the walls ! Very restful which was what we needed after 3 weeks touring with a lot of heavy rain.
