Family-friendly vacation rentals in Heredia

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. We were a group of 12 and the property had plenty of space for all of us. It’s an absolutely majestic home. We were treated to a stay in the clouds with the skies clearing in the evening for us to enjoy some city lights and views. Location is very convenient from San Jose city and airport. We particularly absolutely loved the chef dinner made available to us via this properly. Chef Juan and his assistant absolutely made our day and stay so much better after a full day of touring and a long journey before that. What an incredible meal and experience. Loved this home. We will be back!

this property was gorgeous secluded on a hill side with a gorgeous view from your personal hot tub on your private balcony. full kitchen with everything you need 3 large tvs and 2 full baths. very clean and tidy definitely recommend oh and Uber eats shoes up quickly.

I spent two weeks at Malikas home. Perfectly located for my business affairs. Security was great, access was easy. Beautiful pool and nice gym facilities. Close to everything. Nice views from the 21st floor. I was a little concerned that there was no air conditioning but quickly found it was never needed. Wall to wall sliding doors and windows in the bedroom all open, it always had a constant breeze. I only had a couple questions during my time of stay and they were quickly answered. This is a place in the middle if the city, there is city noise...not too much to keep me from sleeping. The only recommendation I could make is to add additional Bath Towels as there were only two. I highly recommend Malikas home for a great place to stay.

Was very pleased with the place. I have stayed here before when I booked this place a few years ago through another service. Wasn’t even aware it was the same place until I I showed up. Love the housekeeping service. The lady is very nice and helps anyway she can. Place is kept impeccably. Thank you guys!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Julio’s beautiful house. This time we went with friends to celebrate a birthday, all of them have lived in Costa Rica for decades, but were unfamiliar with San Isidro. They all were truly impressed by Julio’s property, its magnificent views, peaceful surroundings, large and gorgeous gardens, and the thoughtful way the house is managed. Jorge, the caretaker, was helpful and friendly. We took our friends to Bonsai Mundo just down the road, an outing that we highly recommend. Thank you for everything, Julio and Jorge! We hope to be back someday soon.

We really liked this apartment. We stayed on the 6th floor, and it had a beautiful view of San José, especially at night with all the lights. Avenida Escazú was only a 15-minute walk via Calle 136 toward the 510 Avenida Escazú condominium, and Multiplaza Mall was about a 20-minute walk. All other places were about a 10-minute Uber drive. The staff at Cortijo were very nice and friendly. We brought our dog with us and were able to walk him in the neighborhood toward Torre Laureles, where we found a dog park not far from there. Cortijo also has a dog area behind the pool, which was handy for potty breaks at night. The apartment was very nice, though I wished it had a dishwasher. I like to cook but don’t necessarily want to do the dishes. The master bed was very comfortable, but the guest bed could use a topper as it was a little too firm for my 89-year-old mother-in-law. The pool was very well-maintained, and it seemed to be heated, as I swam comfortably during colder temperatures.

Laura’s Place was in a great location for our trip to San Jose, Poas Volcano and Waterfall Gardens. It was large enough for our family of 5, and we felt right at home. My children loved that the pool was just steps from our patio too! The only negative for me was, being a light sleeper, the street noise kept me awake in the Master Bedroom. It didn’t bother my husband though. Thanks for a lovely stay all around!

The place was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it any justice. The meditation garden was very beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. If we ever come back this way we would surely stay here again.

David place was just perfect. Very prívate and comfortable in all aspects. The neighborhood is great just a few minutes from the airport. Would definitely come again!

Very nice place

An incredible view just 30 minutes from the center of Heredia, very easy to get to. It garden and the demasido surroundings well cared for and beautiful. We felt like home on the mountain.

Beautiful space, a lot of art on the walls. I loved the high ceilings and the decor. They have this quite little garden at the backyard. The location is very convenient and I would definitely would stay there again.

Walter's place was perfect for us, and it was exactly what we expected from the listing and the photos. He was very easy to work with, and he was very generous and kind with his time. He had recommendations for everything from the best place to exchange currency to the best spot for morning coffee. The space was very attractive and comfortable inside with unique stylistic and decorative details uncommon in other rentals in Costa Rica. Our bathroom/shower was very spacious, clean, and stylish, too. The kitchen was well-stocked with glassware, utensils, plates and, cookware and, of course, a chorreador for making great Costa Rican coffee. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and I, for one, loved the mattress. Ours was very firm and comfortable in contrast with the ubiquitous super-squishy, too-soft foam mattresses so common in US AirBnBs. And the outside patio was so inviting on lazy afternoons. Truly a fantastic stay!

This is a spacious and clean house close to restaurants and other activities. The hosts are very present and helpful in whatever you need! Would recommend this location for others looking for a nice and convenient place to stay

Recommended! The door security people were friendly, check in was easy and fast. More than adequate space for luggage and clothes. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Living/dining area very beautifully furnished and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. Small city park across the street and Sabana Sur park a few blocks away. Scores of dining options. Jose always responded promptly and checked in on us. I would like to stay here again for a short or long stay.
