Vacation rentals with breakfast in Heredia

A beautiful rustic house overlooking the volcanoes. We had a minor issue with the water and Tomás was quick to take care of it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Do keep in mind the biggest room is downstairs, so not suitable for somebody who has trouble with stairs. But the three rooms in the main area still have enough beds. This would be an awesome place for a big family. Close to Poás and the peace waterfalls. My teenage children all loved it.

Pictures do not do justice to this place. Great part of town. Even allowed us to park inside secured gate for our rental car. Andres was awesome. Highly recommend!!

Maria is so kind and welcoming. I was on a restrictive diet when I was there so I wasn’t able to eat her delicious smelling home cooking, but she made me a fresh tortilla anyway and let me have a couple of farm eggs. The room was simple and cozy and I slept like a baby after my flight. It’s also a quick walk to the convenience store, which stocks lots of fresh fruit, and some cute food trucks and a Starbucks.

this place is a hidden gem. it is very very close to the airport and still in the countryside. the apartment is private and safe located behind a beautiful mansion with a walled garden. orchids and other exotic flora abound on the property. it is a very nice place to simply relax away from the urban frenzy in peace and quiet even if only for one night.

The apartment looks like the pictures and is very spacious. The view is nice, especially at night. There are some good restaurants close by. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. Gustavo is a great host. He was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful by giving local recommendations. He also stocked the apartment with extra things like food, water, and other toiletries. I had a great stay thanks to Gustavo and his beautiful apartment.

Great place to share, close to the city of Heredia, nice and comfortable.

Super host in every way. The apartment exceeded expectations. The area had a lot of good cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. We walked around the area and felt safe.

This B&B is gorgeous!!! The room was comfortable with an in suite bathroom. There’s a terrace where you can relax that’s absolutely stunning. I ordered dinner the night I stayed and it was delicious, as was the breakfast (huge portions). Laurie was helpful in arranging airport transfer which was only a 15 minute drive from her place. It’s a quiet neighborhood and great place to stay if you want to be near the airport or away from the craziness of downtown San Jose.

I have always visited the restaurant which is incredible, they have delicious food and the attention of the staff makes me feel at home. This time we had the opportunity to stay in the cabins we really enjoyed it, since the place has a sufficient space to rest and also give it breakfast from the restaurant which I highly recommend, in addition to the beautiful view and gardens.

Pleasant, clean and good service. We were allowed to stay in the room until the afternoon at no extra charge. Thank you!

This place is fantastic! Location is perfect, close to the airport and near restaurants. Airport pick up was a great addition. The place is very clean, had everything I needed, and Christina really goes out of her way to make you feel at home - plus she’s a great cook!! Thank you so much Christina!! Great place to stay after a long flight, the staff is very helpful and the food is good!

The place is in a quiet area, you can feel safe and only 10 minutes to the larger shopping center. Continental breakfasts delicious, friendly, smiling, and supportive guests. Rooms are clean, well-maintained. If we go back to San Jose, it's also to Casa Lima. :)

Diego was a helpful host. He picked us up at the airport, took us to the central market next day, and then dropped us safely at the airport again. He went over and above the expectations. The bedrooms and bathrooms are private, and also have enjoyable common areas.
