This stay was breathtaking. The pictures posted were accurate of everything you encounter at the stay. Knut was so kind and responsive and he helped us with baggage, recommendations, and he spent time orienting us to the cabin and its amenities. Whenever I had a question, Knut messaged back within just a couple minutes with a thorough and helpful response. The stay was spotless and the view was indescribable. The hot tub is such a nice bonus. It's like a private oasis. This stay is an absolute gem and I recommend you stay here without any hesitation!

It's a stunning and peaceful place, with an amazing and private terrace on the fiord. The house is really cozy and well equiped and the owners' instructions were super helpful and accurate. We loved the surrounding nature, exploring the fiord with the boat we rent, and the hot tub😍. Best airbnb ever! A corner of paradise! We look forward to visiting again! ❤️

The cabin was really cute, we got enough wood to keep our fire going for the days we were there. The husky’s were very cute and very excited to see people all the time. The hosts were very nice. The location was also gorgeous with a mountain path right behind the house.

Again a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. We have been here before and have really enjoyed. Lovely surroundings. Cozy house with everything needed. Tidy and clean. Plenty of towels and bed linen. Very nice with a wood-fired hot tub. We enjoyed the sea and bathed both in the sea and in the stomp. Fishing off the dock, and kayaked. We will definitely come again and would highly recommend the place. Thank you for this time.

This cabin is a real gem nestled in a corner of paradise. Accessible in only 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot, the path to this is perfectly marked. The kitchen, fully equipped, offers all the essentials to prepare delicious dishes or desserts. Comfortable, the cabin also has a TV, wifi, and much more.

We have had a wonderful mini winter holiday in this cozy log cabin! There we had everything we needed. Well-equipped, tidy and clean. With beautiful nature on all sides, mountain forest, rivers and lake. Hens roaming around the yard, cows, cozy play area outside. We had a pleasant and quiet stay here and would love to come again! Great stay! Had what we needed😄, was peaceful and quiet here even though the waterfall was behind the bedroom so didn't make any noise at all. A small piece of jewelry. We felt totally comfortable when we arrived, which was also due to the fact that a fire was already prepared in the fireplace. It is very cozy and everything you need is there that you need. The view of the fjord is wonderful...there is always something to see and you can take great pictures. For hiking and bathing, you have to drive about 10-15 minutes, but fishing on site by boat is good. We also used the boat to go to the small island of Sild. Otherwise, as always, the communication with Laila was great and we can highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

We had a great time in the cabin! Off-season, the area was practically deserted and we hardly saw other people there. It was a superb "base camp" for day hikes in the area. Besides the obvious (and amazing) Vøringsfossen, the highlight of our trip was summiting the nearby Grytehorga which was surprisingly easy.

it's a dream place! Our best place on our fortnight vacation in Norway. The cabin is cozy, very well decorated by May Bente and very clean. very well equipped, nothing missing. the view is beautiful and even in rainy weather, it is nice to stay there. the wood stove is a real plus. We were able to buy excellent meat and milk at the farm. May BEP kindly offered us socks that she had knitted and provided us with the explanations to make them as well. Hiking to Himakana is a must. Very nice view from above. We can stay several days for a rest and healing stay in the heart of nature.

A great, quiet house. Absolutely recommended for people seeking tranquility and relaxation. The view of the fjord is gigantic. The house is super clean and well appointed. The way to get to the house is a bit adventurous the first time, but you get used to it. We felt very comfortable. Communication with Ann Lisbeth was also always hassle-free - she responded to messages within minutes. Just a bit unfortunate that we didn't meet her in person.

Very nice and quite place! In the time that I was there (April), I didn’t see a single person. The place is small and cosy, but it has everything you need. The bed upstairs is a little climb to get into, but if you don’t want that, you can sleep downstairs as well. Private parking. Very clean. I love it!

What a special place tucked in the middle of the island! A great little hike to get into the cabin, and the cabin itself, situated up on a little ledge overlooking the bog and river lands is such a fun place to stay. Very comfortable inside between the fireplace, simple solar setup, deck, and you can tell Knut's recommendations come from a love of the place and area. Lovely location and cabin!

Loved staying at this typical norwegian cabin. Beautiful area and well equipped with lots of firewood, cooking equipment, blankets, candles and a lot more.

The cottage was beautifully located – surrounded by nature, with fantastic tranquility and a real wilderness feeling! Everything was super prepared, clean and cozy. We felt really comfortable and would come back any time. Thanks for a great stay!
