Verve.:. Abode @ 219 East Marcy is a 2,200 square foot vacation rental house in the heart of downtown historic Santa Fe. This two bedroom, one bathroom free standing building has a 1,100 square foot living / dining great room, full kitchen and two off street parking spaces in a private lot behind the building.
Located in the heart of downtown Santa Fe, Verve.:.Abode provides an ideal base camp for visitors wishing to explore museums, restaurants, shops, galleries, and other Santa Fe gems.

The space
The space housed a contemporary photography gallery for many years. Verve.:. Abode currently features artwork produced by many of the talented photographers who showed their work at the gallery. Unlike many rental spaces in Santa Fe, Verve.:. Abode's great room (living, dining, TV and work space) is decorated with mid-century modern furnishings, a 12 foot tall ceiling with large Edison pendant lights and concrete floors with beautiful area rugs. The dining table seats six comfortably, and there is a large desk in the back of the room with USB and power outlets for business travelers (the home has Comcast Business Class Wireless Internet with a download speed of 100 mbps). The TV is equipped with Hulu + Live TV streaming through a Roku Stream Stick, and there is a Sonos stereo system with a music service subscription providing millions of songs to choose from. The expansive front porch features a lovely seating area, perfect for savoring our famous Santa Fe sunsets. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds, each with trundles. The kitchen is equipped with a full size Bosch dishwasher, a large Frigidaire refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, stove / microwave / oven combo unit, toaster oven, coffee maker, grinder and french press as well as a breakfast nook with seating for four. There is also a full sized Speed Queen commercial washer / dryer for your laundry needs (detergent is provided).

Verve.:. Abode is proudly powered by a 6kW photovoltaic solar array.

**Per the City of Santa Fe code requirements, Verve.:.Abode can only accommodate 4 guests 18 years or older. However, for families traveling with children, Verve.:.Abode can sleep up to 6 guests so long as 2 are under 18 years of age.

***We do allow pets, but please be aware that there is no yard or fenced in area. There is a small park 1/2 a block to the west. While Santa Fe is a very dog friendly place, please note that the City of Santa Fe has a strict leash law and dogs must be kept on a leash at all times within the city limits.

****Our driveway is tight and cannot accept anything larger than a full size Suburban (max vehicle size cannot exceed 18’ long and/or 8’ tall)

Born in Austin, Texas, I have been a proud New Mexican since 1999. I received my B.A. from Occidental College in Los Angeles, with a focus on Italian Renaissance Art and Architecture. I owned and operated Verve Gallery of Photography in Santa Fe for 14 years before turning the space into a short term rental property. A passionate environmentalist, I am an enthusiastic partner with Positive Energy Solar, New Mexico’s largest residential solar panel installer. I also serve on the Board of Trustees of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, the New Mexico Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, and Rio Grande Elementary School. In my free time I enjoy skiing, fly-fishing, mountain biking, and spending time with my family.
