The bathroom features a sparkling rain shower and all the essentials you need to refresh and recharge after a day exploring Charlotte.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to the common areas in the back yard. Please keep to the walking trails. Please do use the rear access gate to dispose of rubbish.

Use of the main house, including the front and back porch, the front yard, gas and electric grills, fire pit, and storage shed are not intended for guest use.

Please Read Before Your Stay:
-Kindly stay on the stone path and avoid walking on the grass or garden areas.
-As we’re in the City of Charlotte, please expect usual city sounds: emergency vehicles; construction; pets; traffic; planes; or yard work.
-For everyone’s safety, video doorbells and exterior cameras monitor the walkways and driveway. The cottage also has an alarm system and smart smoke/CO2 detector.
-Please note there are 3 steps leading into the cottage.
-Appliances are thoughtfully sized for a cozy stay (mini fridge, microwave, kitchenette, etc.). If you prefer a larger space with full-size amenities, the Yellow Cottage may not be the best fit.
-We’re excited to host guests who value the unique charm of the Yellow Cottage, here in Dilworth’s historic neighborhood—surrounded by parks, restaurants, shops, and Uptown.
-Overnight EV Level 2 charging is available through a non-Tesla J-Plug home charger. Charging is $30 per sedan size vehicle, per one night charging. $50 per vehicle larger than a sedan, per one night charging.

Originally the brainchild of Edward Dilworth Latta in the 1890s, Dilworth was Charlotte's first streetcar suburb. To attract residents and businesses to the suburb, Latta built a 90-acre park as an enticement. The community was constructed as a grid that centered on East Boulevard, welcoming families to turn-ofthe- century, Queen Anne, colonial revival and Craftsman architecture. Today, a new generation has discovered the charm and neighborliness of Dilworth with its treelined streets, front porches and inviting sidewalks. The place you will be staying is located near Historic Dilworth with friendly neighbors, conveniently close to lots of restaurants and many attractions.
Harris Teeter and Fresh Market are just one block away! The same goes for YAFO Kitchen if you want to taste something “Mediterranean”. Duck Donuts, Starbucks, and Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar, Bakersfield, Foxcroft Wine Bar, TCBY, Dolce Italian, Zen Fusion, Konnichiwa, and Vibe Cafe are all a 5 minute walk.
