SISTER PROPERTY OF 5-STAR RATED, COZY CATSKILLS CABIN (ALSO IN SAUGERTIES): 10 minutes from the charming towns of Saugerties and Woodstock, this super-cozy, Tonga has every modern convenience, overflows with style, and comfortably sleeps up to four. The tiny house/cabin feels a million miles away, yet is close to area restaurants, breweries, music venues, ski resorts and other attractions. Think of it as the perfect private getaway with creature comforts aplenty and lots of peace and quiet.

The space
Inside: open and inviting with lots of sunlight, thanks to an abundance of large windows (all with blinds). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare your favorite meals and drinks. In the living room, you’ll find a comfy couch and an LG smart HDTV with access to Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, etc. Rounding out the living room is an electric fireplace and an assortment of books and games. An Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speaker is also provided. And you’ll have blazing-fast Wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bed on one end and two twin beds on the other. All beds feature Casper memory foam mattresses and luxurious bedding. Note: THE SLEEPING LOFT AREA IS NOT FULL HEIGHT—it's about 5 feet floor to ceiling—so adult guests will need to bend down to get around.

Outside: Nature everywhere you look. Sliding doors off the living room open onto a large deck with a full-size dining table. A nearby cedar grove offers partial shade and is a great place for morning coffee/tea (or evening cocktails). Walk down the huge open yard, with Overlook Mountain beckoning, and gather round the fire pit for s’mores, wine, or whatever you feel. A firewood shed (with complimentary wood and firestarter) is steps away.

Guest access
Full access to the entire home and yard.

Other things to note

Neighborhood highlights

The villages of Saugerties and Woodstock are just 10 minutes away. Both offer an assortment of great restaurants, bars, bakeries, ice cream parlors, shops, farmers markets, and other places worth checking out. There's also a healthy music scene, especially in Woodstock, if you feel like taking in live music. Kingston, the largest city in the area, is a 20-minute drive.

The region is well known for its great outdoors. In the warmer months, go kayaking, tubing or fishing in the glorious Esopus. Cool off in a swimming hole. Marvel at the wonder of Opus 40 sculpture park. Hike to your heart's content. Get back to nature at Catskills Park or Falling Waters Preserve, to name a few. In winter, skiing, snowboarding, tubing and snow shoeing are short drives away.
