Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck and watch the sun rise over the pond, and watch the sun set over the horse pasture curled up next to a crackling campfire. Then bed down for the night in luxury in this cozy canvas yurt, listening to the breeze while the tree frogs sing you to sleep.
The yurt boasts a queen size bed, a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or catch up on some work, and a comfy oversized chair for relaxing. Outhouse available for guest use.

The space
An outdoorsman's paradise, the ranch boasts scenic horse pastures, a beautiful pond, lush flora and fauna, and direct access to hundreds of miles of trails for riding, biking, ATVing and snowmobiling. During the winter months we also have ample opportunity for snowshoeing and cross country skiing, and the local ski resort is only a five minute drive. Here on the ranch we are nestled in the woods surrounded by lakes with stunning beaches and fishing and boating galore. Don't feel like leaving the farm? That's okay! There is plenty of activity to be found right here at Shadowlands Ranch. Stroll our scenic trails, unwind with the resident equines, take a riding lesson, relax with a yoga or meditation session with our resident Yoga instructor, enjoy a foraging expedition, the options are endless..
Please remember, we are a working farm and ranch, sounds, smells and all, it ads to our rustic charm. We also employ several livestock guardian dogs that remain on duty to protect our livestock from natural predators, so make yourselves at home and don't pay em any mind.

Guest access
Guests may access the grounds surrounding the yurt, the communal picnic table and fire pit, and the abundant trail systems. We just ask that you remain on your side of the fencing and out of the barn and pasture area, for your safety and the safety of our resident livestock.
The outhouse is available for guest use and includes a potty and a sink.

Other things to note
Yurt is furnished with a cozy queen sized bed perfect for two. An additional queen sized air mattress is available upon request.
