The house is surrounded by greenery, with an exclusive garden of 150 square meters equipped with deck chairs and barbecue. Its location is ideal: a short walk from the beginning of the most spectacular walks on Lake Como, and a few minutes by car from the city center. Reserved parking spot and possibility to organize wine tastings in our personal winery or enjoy a brunch based on local products of Lake Como.

The space
The house is an independent structure renovated in 2020, with no other houses in the vicinity. The property includes a double bedroom, bathroom, dining room and living room with kitchenette equipped with everything you need to cook, including oven, kettle and nespresso machine. Wifi and TV are at your disposal. A fridge and an additional freezer are available upon request. The house includes a garden of 150 square meters for the exclusive use of guests, with outdoor table where you can organize lunches or relaxing dinners outdoors. A barbecue and two deck chairs are also available for guests to relax among our olive trees and fruit trees. Our garden is available free of charge to our guests, who in the summer are free to collect vegetables for their consumption.
For children, a small playground with slide and sandbox, and a swing for the little ones.
Finally, a reserved and free parking space for your car.

Other things to note
The house does not have air conditioning as it is not necessary in this area. The house is 1000 meters above sea level and even on the hottest summer days it records lower temperatures than the city. In addition, the old structure of the house with thick exterior walls tends to keep it cool inside.

The house enjoys a special location: completely surrounded by greenery, but only 15 minutes from Como, 7 minutes if you use the funicular. It is a perfect starting point for the most beautiful walks in the mountains of Lake Como. In fact, 200mt away is the Sanctuary of Santa Rita, the starting point for walks along the ridge of the Larian triangle. On the way you will find several cabins, where you can stop to enjoy some typical dishes of the area, and if you want to make longer excursions you can reach the picturesque village of Bellagio with the magnificent walk of the ridge. On foot you can also reach the Piazza di San Maurizio, where the famous Volta Lighthouse is located, from which you will enjoy an incredible 360-degree view that extends from Lake Como, to the Alps up to Milan. The nearest village is Brunate, famous for its views of Como and the renowned liberty villas.
